Description
Dear guests ,
The villa is located in a residential area of Schöneiche, only a few kilometres east of the capital. The villa is very quietly situated in a dead end street. There is no noise at all.
You live in a beautiful architect's wooden house with a green roof. The villa has 300m² of living space with seven bedrooms and a total of seven marble bathrooms and it can accommodate 18 guests. You will sleep in beautiful box-spring beds. There is super soft carpet in five bedrooms and high quality wooden floorboards in two bedrooms. The rooms are located on the ground floor and upstairs. Prepare your meal in the spacious American kitchen and make use of the large refrigerator, two dishwashers, a 5-gas burner cooker, the brick counter with glass hangers and many other electrical appliances. Enjoy the communal meal in the masive and rustic sitting area with large fireplace
The highlight in the villa is the glass ceiling on the first floor with a panoramic view and a cosy couch. For all children there are free high chairs and children's travel cots. Please just let my colleague know when you arrive.
Relax on the 100 m² bankirai terrace with large heated pool. The temperature in the pool is 24° all year round. We will gladly make you an offer for a pool temperature of 28°C . In the cold months there is a large marquee over the pool. The terrace is on the south side. You have sun all day and a beautiful view of the greenery.
The landlord has installed night lighting throughout the house. There are mosquito nets on all windows in the bedrooms. A sound system is available in the living and dining area and for all rooms. In the 1000m² garden, which is difficult to see, there is a log sauna with six seats and a bath barrel with four seats. You can fire both yourself with wood. This is great fun.
Please bring your own wood or buy it at the hardware store around the corner. A ground trampoline has been installed for the children. A new table tennis table is also in the garden. Some table tennis bats and balls are free of charge.
For the garden friends there is a charcoal grill. Of course there are six free parking spaces on the property.
You can use the wifi free of charge.
You can reach the Müggelsee lake in five minutes by car. The centre of Berlin with its many sights can be reached in 40 minutes.

Location and surroundings of object
The family-friendly forest garden culture community of Schöneiche bei Berlin (approx. inhabitants), winner of the TAT - Orte - Gemeinden ecological competition in 1997 and 2000, is located in the Müggelspree Regional Park, 25 km east of Alexanderplatz. The Berlin city forest, a recreational area, separates the community from the district of Köpenick in the state of Berlin. The Müggelsee lake to the south is 4 km away. The community has excellent public transport connections. The Schöneich-Rüdersdorf tram and two bus lines connect Schöneiche bei Berlin with the S-Bahn stations Friedrichshagen and Rahnsdorf and with Erkner station (regional train stop). 1375 - 1746 Schöneiche changed its character and shape. When it was first mentioned in a document in 1375 in the land register of Emperor Charles IV, Schoneyke and Schonebeke (later Kleinschönebeck) were independent villages with 48 and 45 inhabitants, respectively. While Schonebeke remained free of landowners, Schoneyke (Schöneiche) began to be a knight's estate in 1529. In the course of the centuries, the ruling families changed here; in 1690 from Hans Adam von Krummensee to General Christian Dietrich von Röbel; in 1716 to Herr von Hacke from Rangsdorf; in 1730 again to Severin Schindler (the founder of the orphanage of the same name and builder of the baroque castle church that still exists today). In 1746, his widow sold it to the bank clerk Seegebarth, whose heirs sold the estate to Frau Oertzen, who in 1761 sold it to the banker Friedrich Wilhelm Schütze. The latter built the castle (which was demolished in 1949) and embellished the estate with park-like grounds and the planting of avenues. The wax bleaching and wax drawing factory founded by him also gained importance, the products of which were in demand throughout Europe and which existed until the end of the 19th century.
19. Towards the end of the 19th century, Schöneiche and Klein Schönebeck began to develop into a suburban villa settlement and forest garden town of Berlin under the influence of the growing imperial city and metropolis nearby. The actual connection with Berlin and later with the nearby industrial town of Rüdersdorf, however, did not come about until 1910 with the emergence of the Schöneich tramway. Since its existence and the extension of the Berlin city railway by Siemens, from the 1980s onwards, residents of our town have been able to find work in Berlin. This significantly changed the character of the area, which had until then been a village and thus used for agriculture. Fichtenau, which was built in 1892, became the residence of civil servants working in Berlin. Tourism also developed well here, especially in the 1920s, favoured by many inns and guesthouses. Fichtenau was a climatic health resort at that time and was also popular with guests because of the cultural activities of its associations. Today, too, Schöneiche should remain worth living in because of its green surroundings, on the one hand, and on the other hand, gentle tourism should be developed and the life of the associations should flourish again. Due to its ecological commitment, the community was one of the prize winners in the 1997 project "TAT-Orte. Communities in Ecological Competition" project of the German Federal Environmental Foundation in cooperation with the German Institute of Urban Affairs.
"Stumbling Stones" in memory of the Jewish inhabitants of the municipality of Schöneiche bei Berlin The municipality of Schöneiche bei Berlin is convinced that a future-oriented, harmonious and sustainable shaping of local development can be promoted by actively dealing with the history of our municipality.

additional information:
A historical core of Schöneiche is located in the district of Kleinschönebeck. The village is an old roadside village from the time of the settlement of the Mark Brandenburg in the 1st half of the 13th century. The long Anger and the dividing village street, along which the farms are situated on both sides, still preserve the structure of a farm without an estate, which has grown over the centuries. Kleinschönebeck is an example of a relatively poor village in which only a few stately farmhouses were built in the second half of the 19th century due to the separation of the land. In the "Dorfaue" you will find the village hall from the 18th century, the village church from the 15th century, surrounded by the old village cemetery, the old fire station, the village pond and the valuable old trees. A more recent sight can be found at the end of the Dorfaue - a concrete fragment of the Berlin Wall.

Review – Stay from December 19 to 21 in the Villa Berlin
We were very satisfied with our stay at Villa Berlin. The house is truly beautiful and perfectly suited for spending time together with friends or family. It is particularly noteworthy that each room has its own bathroom – this is incredibly comfortable and makes the stay very pleasant for larger groups. The amenities leave nothing to be desired: The sauna, the high-quality furnishings, and the overall ambiance are excellent and create a great atmosphere for a shared break. One can tell that a lot of value has been placed on quality and comfort.
The only drawback we would like to mention concerns the check-in and check-out times. A check-in starting at 4 PM is quite late – an earlier check-in around 2 PM would have been much more pleasant. The check-out at 10:30 AM is also very early, and unfortunately, there is no way to extend it without additional costs. A later check-out around 12 or 1 PM would have made the stay, especially given the higher price level of the accommodation, significantly more relaxed and would have allowed us to fully enjoy Friday or Sunday. Additionally, we would like to note that although the check-out was officially at 10:30 AM, someone came by at 10:00 AM to check. It would have been much more pleasant to truly enjoy the already early check-out until 10:30 AM without feeling checked or under time pressure beforehand.
Aside from that, the stay was really great, and we felt very comfortable. With slightly more flexible times and a more relaxed check-out, Villa Berlin would be absolutely perfect for us.

70th birthday with children and grandchildren
With 9 adults and 9 children, the house was full! And exactly in this situation, 7 rooms each with their own bathroom are simply wonderful! Next, one learns to appreciate the huge kitchen, where everything is really there, including all supplies!! For the kids, of course, the huge pool was the highlight, and for parents and grandparents, it also meant relaxation, as entertaining the children was very easy?! What else should I say: 2 large grills, sauna, hot tub, table tennis, trampoline..., no wishes are left unfulfilled!! We had 3 great, unforgettable days with the whole family!
recommend for: adventure and experience, holiday with children

Absolute recommendation
Our travelling group of friends of eight people, were surprised and delighted with this house. Our host fully understood and implemented the concept of a relaxed holiday. Each room has its own bathroom. The whole house is made of light wood and is huge and luxurious. The pool, sauna and garden exceed our expectations. A small, technical challenge were the TVs. None of us managed to operate even one of the many TVs in the house satisfactorily. But that was not our priority. We wanted to have a relaxed holiday and we certainly could! I recommend this house to others, although it really must remain an insider tip! We will definitely come again. You can't miss such an opportunity. As of now, the houses for our upcoming trips are of a very high standard.
recommend for: seniors, holiday with children, holiday with pet, cultural and sightseeing holiday
