In the center of this old, meticulously restored former noble Palazzo lies with style-appropriate equipment and a lot of atmosphere. An entrance arch leads into a surrounding green courtyard and in an indoor garden, an old stone staircase to the pond terrace (with grapes pergola). From here you get into the cozy dining kitchen with old bread oven and in the fireplace lounge (31 sqm) with TV, followed by 2 consecutive bedrooms (each 30 square meters, one of which can be used as an office) with sea views, and the bathroom ( also with sea view). Recently, all the windows were renewed: beautiful wooden windows with insulating glass. A spiral staircase leads to a roof terrace which can be enjoyed with Locri and the sea a fantastic panorama over the roofs of the old town, the coastal plain. From the living room a stone staircase resonates in the beautifully landscaped, shaded garden with ornamental pond (palms, cypress, bamboo, apricots, figs, kiwi, Bougainville ...); Washing machine, heating facility (electric radiator). Another Palazzo, I can convey is connected to the adjacent Palazzo Carmen and therefore also for kl. Groups up to 10 people suitable, and remain for any niches and safe havens. All the shops and restaurants of the town are within walking distance; Parking lot in the vicinity (35 m); the sea about 10 km. Tip for individualists: Living in Palazzo, breakfast on the typical Piazza and dinner in a quaint trattoria (homemade and pickled vegetable and mushroom appetizers, homemade pasta ... Palazzo Carmen is located directly in the historic town of Gerace, in a quiet alley. So you can enjoy wonderful peace, although it is only a few steps from the restaurants, shops and bars of the town away, and not least from the famous cathedral and other sights. The neighborhood is ideal for walks or short trips to other small places worth seeing. The sea is a daily bath on the beautiful beaches of the Ionian coast is not far, so no problem. The quiet, historic town of Gerace is 450 meters high on a hill over the Ionic Calabrian coast, off the beaten track. Here you will find wide sandy beaches, little beach facilities and very clear water. The nearest beaches are those of Locri, Siderno and Marina di Gioiosa Ionica.
