We felt very comfortable in Heiko and Silvia's holiday apartment. The location is unique, wonderfully quiet and idyllic. A particular highlight is definitely the raccoons and the beautiful garden. We had a fantastic vacation with you. Upon our arrival, we were greeted very friendly, as if we had known each other for a long time. We were also invited for coffee and cake, so we had a cozy afternoon. We felt very comfortable in the holiday home, as it is well-maintained and lovingly decorated. We also slept very well in the beds. A nice, large bathroom, where everyone had their own sink. The location of the vacation apartment is great, no car noise. A highlight was also that we were able to feed the raccoons in the evening, which was a lot of fun for us, because they are very tame. Even the 3 dogs had gotten used to us. I could go on raving, because it is simply a beautiful vacation apartment. We felt at home. In short, we will be back. Feel loved and embraced by us, Sylvia and Heiko.

A fantastic accommodation in the middle of nature with lots of forest around, with super nice and lovely landlords :)

We were here for a week and are thrilled! It is a great place to relax. It can hardly be quieter.
In addition, Sylvia and Heiko are extremely accommodating and friendly. A beautiful garden, a large fish pond, and a huge raccoon enclosure as a diversion at the house, and lots of forest at the foot of the Rennsteig.

Vacation with dear people

My wife and I spent an absolutely peaceful and relaxed week here. Special praise goes to our dear hosts Heiko and Sylvia. We were welcomed like friends. Relaxing stay in a well-kept country house

The cozy apartment is suitable for both relaxing and active holidays. The beautifully renovated country house is surrounded by quiet nature. A beautiful garden invites you to linger; the house is fully renovated; the friendly landlord couple lives on the ground floor, the apartment is on the upper floor; the living room part of the kitchen is modernly furnished, the kitchen part offers a pantry kitchen, which provides everything necessary for self-catering. Next to it is the cozy bedroom which leaves nothing to be desired (the beds are comfortable and it is quiet at night, depending on the season you can even hear the deer roar); next to it is a spacious, modern bathroom with a separate shower and bathtub to relax from the pleasant strains of the day. You can spend a relaxing time in the house and garden, explore the nearby Bad Liebenstein and use the hiking trails (e.g. to the Rennsteig) that pass by the accommodation. This accommodation is highly recommended for anyone looking for peace and relaxation in a pleasant atmosphere.

Peace, relaxation, adventure

We were warmly welcomed and directly invited for a coffee. The dogs also enjoyed more petting - my daughter was thrilled :-)
The location is absolutely fantastic: situated idyllically in the forest...you can hear the deer roaring...and everything in the surrounding area is easily accessible - ideal as a starting point for numerous trips and adventures.
The first way to the house is a bit adventurous, but Heiko quickly explains which way is easier to drive. Heiko and Sylvia also have great recommendations for activities, depending on what you want to do.

The mini raccoon was the absolute highlight!
The dogs, the turtle, the koi pond, and the aquarium of course ;-)

Unfortunately, a week went by very quickly - we will definitely come back!

1 week rest

We were welcomed so warmly that we immediately felt like "old" friends. The flat is located in the forest in absolute peace and quiet. There are many opportunities for hiking and sightseeing by car. We would gladly come back at any time, especially as the price/performance ratio is absolutely right.

Gladly again

After a warm welcome, we were able to take possession of our lovingly furnished holiday home and were very satisfied with the equipment and cleanliness. Everything had been thought of and nothing was missing. Heiko and Sylvia were always on hand with very good tips for things to do. Urlaub

After a 2km bumpy track, we reached the destination in a quiet area and a very beautiful vacation home that leaves nothing to be desired. We were guests for a week at Heiko Schlechtweg and his partner, both of whom were very friendly and talkative. We would highly recommend the accommodation to anyone in need of a lot of peace. Of course, also to everyone else.

Relaxing family vacation

We had a lovely holiday with the four of us, including two children (almost 2 and 4 years old). The apartment was very clean and had everything a family needs. The hosts were great and had a solution for all our concerns. The garden and the apartment were designed with great attention to detail. It was clear that a lot of passion went into it. Even the many small details such as a provided baby cot and swing for the children, or turning on the evening lights for the terrace where we ended our day with a view of the great garden, were excellent and very attentive. We felt comfortable from the first moment. The highlight for our children (but also for us) were the fish (aquarium), the dogs, and the raccoons. We were able to explore the surroundings with a castle ruin and rock theater on foot. The town of Bad Liebenstein could be reached by car in 10 minutes, and with the playground (right next to Rewe), the zoo, and the castle, we could experience very beautiful and nearby excursion destinations.

Lots of peace and nature away from the city.

Very nice vacation home by the forest in Atterode, a district of Bad Liebenstein. Ideal for hiking and relaxing. Highly recommended for children, as there are animals like koi, raccoons, a turtle, and 2 lovely dogs living there. Play equipment and pool are available, and plenty of games for rainy days. Lots to experience like a marine aquarium, dwarf park, caves, waterfalls, castles, and palaces. Very friendly landlords, and above all, affordable.

Very nice, attentive landlords, great holiday apartment away from the hustle and bustle. Pure peace and nature! You can start hiking directly and reach many interesting, beautiful destinations. Wonderful location 2 km away from Bad Liebenstein, yet immediately in the beautiful spa town. Dreamy garden in the midst of pristine nature, beautiful, very clean holiday apartment, very kind and helpful landlords and neighbors. Ideal for those seeking peace, an ideal starting point for hikes, numerous excursion destinations within a radius of 15 km. A wonderful vacation, we will be back soon. TOP!!

Peace and relaxation

Ideal travel destination for those who prefer a quieter environment! Those who have overcome the slightly bumpy, almost 2km long forest road will be more than rewarded with pure nature and a beautiful and well-maintained outdoor area of the holiday property. We were warmly welcomed by the most friendly hosts ever at the car and invited for coffee and cake. The vacation rental is top-notch, just like everything around it, and offers space for 4 adults and 2 children (if you book the second room). The furnishings leave nothing to be desired, and the bathroom could be considered luxurious. Wi-Fi is available for free. However, on some days, you may struggle to find a mobile phone signal. "Simply great" to be unreachable at times! For tips on good excursion destinations, it's best to get them directly from the host! (Secret tip included) The surroundings invite you to go cycling, hiking, or simply to relax and unwind. And for the little ones, there are also pets that love to be petted. Unfortunately, the vacation days pass by much too quickly here. "Definitely something you should treat yourself to multiple times"!!!

Wundervoll

It were truly beautiful days for the turn of the year. We were 2 families, 2 adults each with 1 small child. The accommodation is lovingly and almost luxurious. Underfloor heating everywhere. The hosts are really great friendly people with a lot of love for animals. It is worth coming back.

Erholung pur

We lived by the forest in absolute tranquility, in a very cozy apartment, with beautiful hiking trails right from the house. We went for walks with the dog, rode horses, and could freely roam and relax in the large garden. We went mushroom picking, had very pleasant evenings with our landlords who were very friendly and helpful when we needed recommendations, among other things. Wonderful destinations such as the Marienglashöhle, the waterfall, Altenstein Castle, treetop path in the Hainich forest, Wildcat Village, Eisenach with Wartburg, etc. Unfortunately, the two weeks passed by too quickly. Thank you for everything.

Dreamlike short holiday

We were there with 3 children over a long weekend. All of them were thrilled. We would have loved to stay longer. Everything was perfect - a beautifully developed holiday flat, a great garden, very nice landlords and lovely animals.
Pure peace and relaxation - right in the heart of nature. There are also plenty of excursion possibilities in the surrounding area.

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation in the fall. The vacation rental hosts are super nice, the apartment is very beautiful, and it is located in a wonderfully quiet area. You can start hiking right away and give the car a break. There are also beautiful destinations nearby that are not too far to drive to.
