The thatched cottage was renovated in 2013 and refurbished and refurnished in 2016.
Ceiling and entrance door height have been preserved in their original form. It has a bedroom with double bed, kitchen with everything you need, living room with sofa bed, WC with shower, all spread over 48 sqm. A seating area (terrace) outside is available. Marked parking place in front of the house.
Non-smoking house.
The thatched roof got a new ridge in 2016 and the roof areas were cleaned and maintained. The outdoor area was redesigned in 2017.

Location and surroundings of object
The accommodation is located in the village of Rabel, it is at ground level and therefore also well suited for senior citizens. Car parking space is available directly in front of the house. It has a good connection to the B199 without disturbing your holiday peace. In Schleswig-Holstein's beautiful landscape "Angeln" lies the village Rabel, between Kappeln (approx. 4km) and Massholm, near the Schlei (approx. 2km). Rabel is situated in a scenic and relaxing area. Larger towns nearby are Flensburg (approx. 40 km), Eckernförde (approx. 36 km), the state capital Kiel is approx. 60 km away. Rabel is a state-recognised resort, there is a village café, children's playground and only a few small businesses. Various eastern beaches can be reached in a few minutes by car or bicycle. Hiking and cycling trails invite you to take relaxing tours to the Geltinger Birk with the possibility of seeing wild horses. Many excursion destinations offer plenty of opportunities for variety.

A very cozy holiday home with a nostalgic touch and a beautiful garden.

Cute little house in a central location
We liked this little thatched half-timbered house right away. It is lovingly furnished and well equipped. Nothing was missing. The location is quiet and so central that you can easily explore the Schlei and the surrounding area from there. Beautiful area!!! We thank the landlords very much for the nice accommodation.

Thatched roof cottage
Very beautiful vacation in the beautifully furnished and well-stocked thatched cottage. The landlords are very nice and we felt at home. The surroundings are magnificent and we made many trips. The cottage is designed with a lot of attention to detail. Thank you to the Golz family and we would love to come back.
