About 300 meters from the beautiful beaches of Regla and Camarón is this magnificent apartment independent on the first floor of a villa (WITHOUT ELEVATOR), built in a very quiet area of single-family homes. The owner lives on the ground floor of the house; it is about two totally independent houses one from the other.

The quiet town of Chipiona, is located northwest of the coast of Cadiz, on the Costa de La Luz, just 52 km. Cadiz, the capital of the province is the oldest city in the West (3,000 years).

The origins of Chipiona goes back to Roman times. The most emblematic monument in Chipiona perhaps its lighthouse, which dates from 1867 and is built at Punta del Perro, in the same place where Quinto Servilio Cepión, the tower was built in 140 BC.

We can also see the Shrine of Nuestra Señora de Regla, with its Moorish cloister of the XV century and the image of the Virgin (twelfth or thirteenth century). The Parish of Nuestra Señora de La O (XVI century), the Castle was probably built on another of Arab origin around the year 1295 and the Fisheries Corrales (believed to be Roman).

From Chipiona, you can visit the wineries, the School of Equestrian and the Racing Circuit (in Jerez), the horse racing on the beach (in Sanlúcar de Barrameda), or to the Route of the White Towns in the Sierra de Cadiz, north of the province. The route enters the Grazalema Natural Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve, a must for those who enjoy active tourism and rural tourism.

And not far away, across the river, another natural park, the Doñana Natural Park.

Since Chipiona we can make excursions to Cadiz (52 km), to Seville (105 km), to Jerez de la Frontera (27 Km), to Ronda (150 km), to Malaga (260 And not far away, across the river, another natural park, the Doñana km), to Gibraltar (145 km) toTarifa, the Windy City (150 km), to Portugal, Vila Real de Santo Antonio (250 Km), and even to Morocco. To go to Morocco, we will do by road to Algeciras (130 km), then board the ferry to Ceuta (1 hour of trip, 6 crossings daily) or to Tangier (1 hour trip, 40 trips per week). You can ship the car at the Ferry.

In the area of Chipiona you can see and practice a lot of activities, but especially we can enjoy its 12 Km. of magnificent beaches of fine golden sandy, some of them, awarded with the Blue Flag of the Clean Seas of Europe.

Fantastic apartment in Chipiona!

This is the perfect apartment to rent! It is very clean, located 8/10 minutes walk to the beach, with convenient shop just 2 minutes walk and plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby. The area is residential, quiet and you can assure a good rest as all beds are very comfortable. The whole apartment is very well equipped with all you need in the kitchen and air conditioning in both bedrooms and living room. Hosts Antonio and Mari are extremely kind and will surely help you with anything you need. Their service is fantastic! Definitely apartment with good value for money! 100% recommended. We have rented the apartment 4 years in a row and hope to continue doing so in the future. Alvaro and Elena.

Son unas personas educadas y muy correctas que a su marcha dejaron el apartamento perfectamente limpio y ordenado.

Recogerles de la estación de autobuses y llevarles el día de su salida, era lo menos que podía hacer; ellos vinieron de Alemania en avión a Sevilla y de Sevilla a Chipiona en autobús. En la estación de autobuses de Chipiona, nunca suele haber taxis.

Sabemos que lo pasaron muy bien, fueron a la playa todos los días, aunque hubo uno en que llegó a llover algo.

Agradecemos mucho a esta familia su estancia en nuestra casa, la estupenda valoración que han dejado en nuestro anuncio y confiamos en poder recibirles en otra ocasión.

Fantastic!

We had a wonderful week!
Flat very complete, the owner gave us an extremely friendly welcome. Air conditioning available in both bedrooms and living room. And there are even beds and chairs to take to the beach. Plenty of towels and bedding. Good beds.

Fantastic, everything perfect

We want to thank Antonio and Mari enormously for the very pleasant stay we have had, which we will definitely try to repeat. The property is excellent and has all the necessary amenities to enjoy a great vacation. It is at a good distance from the beach, restaurants, and bars, and there is a grocery store just around the corner. At the same time, it is in a residential area, quiet, and safe. Very comfortable beds and pillows, well-equipped kitchen, good wifi, and air conditioning. The terrace is spacious and pleasant. It has the advantage of having a parking space. Antonio and Mari did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and to make things easier for us. We recommend booking at Caracola 4 100%!

Very nice apartment

We stayed in the most beautiful apartment with great comfort, plenty of space, and the most beautiful terrace with a view. It is easy to walk/drive to the beach and there are shopping options just around the corner. Chipiona is a beautiful gem without many tourists. Would love to come back.

Thrilled again!!!

In January 2019 we were in Chipiona for the first time for 3 weeks and stayed in the house of Mari and Antonio in the flat on the 1st floor.

We were in February/March 2022 (5 weeks) for the 4th time in the flat and are/were, as the 1st time very satisfied! The flat has everything we expect from a holiday flat and also a very nice and large terrace (sun all day). And everything is very clean.

We have always been there in the pre/post season (January, February, March and September, October). Some restaurants near the flat are only open on weekends from midday, others in the centre are open all week

We can only repeat that the landlords Mari and Antonio are excellent hosts. They are always ready to help and advise

We have booked again for next autumn (September/October)

Petra y Jürgen son una pareja de jubilados alemanes que desde hace ya algunos años (desde 2019 dicen ellos y así será), vienen en dos ocasiones cada año a Chipiona y se alojan en nuestra casa.

En los años 2020 y 2021, debido a la Covid-19, se vieron obligados a cancelar alguna de las reservas que tenían; pero en septiembre de 2021 y febrero de 2022, han vuelto a su ritmo de dos reservas por año.

Al día de hoy, nos tienen contratadas otras dos reservas, una de 6 semanas a partir de finales de septiembre de 2022 y otra de 5 semanas a partir de febrero de 2023. Pero su intención, y lo estamos tratando, es de reservar por un periodo de 3, 4 o 5 años todo el invierno, de octubre a marzo.

Por nuestra parte, no hay problema ninguno; son personas educadas y muy agradables y estaremos encantados de recibirles todos los inviernos.

Desde aquí queremos agradecer a Petra y Jürgen su fidelidad y su magnífica valoración y comentario que han dejado en nuestro anuncio.

Eight weeks in Chipiona

The flat was very clean and is located in a quiet residential area, about 10 minutes to the beach or the town centre. The furnishings are very functional and are perfectly adequate. The friendly, very pleasant landlords live downstairs in the house.

Delightful!

Absolut tolle

Small, very cozy holiday apartment, everything very inviting, all clean, absolutely sufficient for 4 adults, in my opinion too small for 6 people, as only 1 bathroom is available. Parking in front of the house, parking spaces are scarce... The landlords were rarely seen, they retreat very discreetly.

Jens vino acompañado de su esposa Simone y de otra pareja de su misma edad, Bern y Sabine. Estuvieron en nuestra casa dos semanas. Tuvieron poca relación con nosotros, pero nos parecieron unas personas muy agradables, cada vez que se cruzaban con nosotros saludaban muy atentamente e intercambiaban algunas frases amigables.

Lo que dicen referente el estacionamiento frente a la casa, es verdad; Chipiona es una población costera de 19.000 habitantes, pero en temporada alta (ellos vinieron en agosto) puede multiplicar por diez su población y el aparcamiento es muy complicado, y los fines de semana (vinieron un sábado por la tarde) mucho más. Lo que Jens omite decir es que le era muy difícil meter el coche que traía en el garaje dado lo voluminoso que era. Les propuse aparcar en mi vado, es decir en la misma puerta de la casa, donde no molestarían a nadie ni nadie les molestaría a ellos y tendrían aparcamiento asegurado durante toda su estancia, y así lo hicieron.

Sabemos que lo pasaron muy bien, nos lo dijeron en una simpática nota de despedida que nos dejaron en el apartamento “Unas vacaciones muy agradables y, sobre todo, relajantes”
Pasaron gran parte de su estancia en la terraza de la casa, por las mañanas tomando el sol y por las noches en prolongadas veladas.

Esperamos poder volver a recibirles en un próximo futuro.

Superbes vacances

Very beautiful and spacious accommodation on the 1st floor, fully equipped (nothing is missing) and very clean. The terrace is large, very pleasant, and very well equipped with sun protection.

The owners live on the ground floor and are very discreet while being available for all your requests. They are super friendly and very kind. The location of the accommodation is ideal, on a very quiet street, very close to the city center, a 10-minute walk, and there are plenty of small shops nearby for convenience.

Thanks to Mari and Antonio, Anna and Gema for allowing us to have a relaxing and exotic vacation, we will definitely return to this rental if we come back to the area.

Very nice vacation apartment in a quiet yet central location

We felt very comfortable in the house of Antonio and Mari. The vacation rental is spacious, very clean, and equipped with everything you need. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet central, meaning not far from the beach, good restaurants, and shopping options. Upon arrival, Antonio showed and explained everything in the apartment to us and then left us undisturbed for the rest of our stay. He is available at any time for questions. We liked it so much there that we have already booked our next stay in 2020 with Antonio and Mari.

A stylish, perfect apartment with a beautiful terrace.

We really enjoyed our vacation. This upstairs apartment, with a beautiful, large terrace and morning sun, has everything for a relaxing stay in a typical local atmosphere. Chipiona is very quiet during the off-season weekdays and many restaurants are often only open on the weekends. The Playa De Las Tres Piedras, a short drive away, was a highlight for us. Pure relaxation... with the existing sunbeds and the wind-resistant umbrella from the apartment, ideal. Very nice landlords, even without speaking the same language... uncomplicated.

Si lo que buscas es relajación, la primavera es el mejor tiempo para disfrutar de Chipiona, la temperatura y el sol suelen ser estupendos, las tardes muy largas, hasta las 10:00 de la noche, las playas y los magníficos paseos marítimos son para ti solo. Hay innumerables bares y terrazas donde poder tomarte un aperitivo o restaurantes donde poder comer, y todo sin aglomeraciones.
Nos alegramos de que Maike y Wolfgang lo hayan pasado tan bien como dicen en su escrito y esperamos poder recibirles en una próxima ocasión.

The house is very well equipped, the owners very friendly, the surroundings beautiful.

We stayed in Chipiona in January 2019 for 3 weeks and were completely thrilled with the apartment. The apartment was well-equipped and everything related to it was very clean. The large terrace that belongs to it is also equipped with everything you need. The location of the apartment corresponds to the information provided by the landlords. The landlords Mari and Antonio are very friendly and helpful and are ready to assist with advice and support if desired. Even in the off-season, there are plenty of restaurants/bodegas that are open, and the city is easily accessible on foot. There is everything you need for your daily requirements. We will happily come back.

Esta pareja de jubilados, Petra y Jürgen, estuvieron alojados en nuestra casa tres semanas de este último mes de enero; no es la primera vez que están en Chipiona, ya que también vinieron el año pasado en julio, pero no en nuestra casa, se quedaron en un hotel y aprovecharon su estancia para visitar nuestro apartamento, que les gustó y formalizaron su reserva para enero de 2019.

Como ellos dicen en su comentario, en Chipiona, en temporada baja, hay todo lo que se necesita: restaurantes, bares, comercios, etc., ya que no se trata de un pueblo de solo veraneo, pues tiene una población estable durante todo el año.

Petra y Jürgen son unas personas muy agradables con las que, sin nosotros hablar alemán, nos pudimos entender muy bien, pues ellos se esfuerzan con el español.

Antes de emprender su marcha, nos dejaron hecha su reserva para enero-febrero de 2020.

Desde este escrito, queremos darles nuestro agradecimiento por su estancia, su valoración y comentario, y por su reserva para el 2020.

Beautiful and well-equipped apartment.

The large apartment is located on the first floor above the landlord's house. Antonio can be asked for help at any time, but he does not interfere without being asked. Very pleasant! The apartment was very clean and has a beautiful terrace as well as an additional seating area on the flat roof. The location of the apartment is very good: only a few minutes' walk to the beach and city center. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. During the Christmas holidays, not everything was open, but we had no problems with that. Chipiona is very conveniently located for trips in the area: Cadiz, Jerez, and Sanlucar are almost next door; even Seville and Gibraltar are easily reachable by car. Chipiona's beach is very expansive and beautiful, with white, fine sand - perfect for beach strolls. In the town itself, the Museo de Moscatel is definitely worth a visit (with a tasting). Unfortunately, our week over the Christmas holidays flew by. We would have liked to stay longer.

A very quiet house

A very quiet, beautiful flat whose furnishings, cleanliness and condition exceeded our expectations. The nearby sea (approx. 5 min. walk) is clean and there are plenty of opportunities for shopping all around.

Esta pareja de alemanes, Gisela y Klaus, nos han parecido ser unas personas entrañables y encantadoras. Al llegar nos trajeron de regalo unos vasos serigrafiados con construcciones típicas de su ciudad de residencia, Lippstadt.
Gisela habla muy bien el castellano, ya que de niña estuvo viviendo en España, su padre trabajaba en Bilbao. Klaus no habla castellano, pero te puedes entender muy bien con él utilizando el “Portuñol”, pues estuvo un tiempo viviendo en Brasil y habla el portugués.
Sabemos que lo han pasado muy bien en sus vacaciones, así nos lo han hecho saber y antes de marcharse han quedado en volver en otra ocasión. Nosotros les esperamos.

Beautiful, bright flat, about 5 minutes walk from the beach.

The beach in Chipiona is fantastic. We could swim every day although it was quite cool for May/June, the water was as warm as the air. Chipiona is quite quiet in the low season, not all shops and restaurants were open. The flat was great and we felt very comfortable there!

Corinne es una australiana residente en Alemania que, junto con su amiga alemana Petra y la hija de esta, Emely, estuvieron alojadas en nuestra casa dos semanas desde el 20 de mayo hasta los primeros días de junio.

Lo que dice referente al tiempo es cierto, este año de 2018 es bastante anormal, parecía que el verano no iba a llegar nunca; lo habitual aquí es que a partir de mediados de marzo, al llegar la primavera, el tiempo sea muy agradable.

Efectivamente, en el mes de mayo, en la “Vorsaison” (pretemporada), como dice Corinne, no todas las tiendas y restaurantes están abiertos. Chipiona es una localidad de 19.000 habitantes censados, pero que en temporada alta (julio y agosto) puede llegar a multiplicar por diez su población, por tanto en mayo hay muchas tiendas y restaurantes cerrados y también muchas casas, bloques de pisos y hasta calles en las no vive nadie. Puede que haya personas a las que esto no les guste y prefieran un ambiente mucho más animado, el de la temporada alta; pero para los que disfrutan de la tranquilidad, los que quieren playas sin aglomeraciones, paseos marítimos para ellos solos o restaurantes en los que siempre haya una mesa esperándoles, Chipiona es, en primavera y otoño, uno de los mejores destinos.

Por otra parte, no quiero dejar de decir que Chipiona es un pueblo muy seguro y que, por muy poca gente que haya por la calle, se puede pasear a cualquier hora del día o de la noche, sin que nadie te moleste.

Nos alegramos mucho que Corinne, Petra y Emely disfrutaran de su estancia en Chipiona. Esperamos volver a verlas.

We had a very nice holiday.-

The holiday flat is as described. All everyday things are sufficiently available. The flat is in very good condition and very clean. The landlords live on the ground floor; the holiday flat can be reached in the courtyard via an outside staircase. The landlords were very friendly and helpful

The house is about 300 metres from a very well-kept beach. The dune landscape and the beach are very well maintained with EU funds. We were in Chipiona far away from the season and found everything we needed for a relaxing holiday., Sea, beach

Depending on your mood, the place offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday. There are separate cycle paths in the immediate vicinity, which are certainly necessary in the season., Water sports, Hiking, cycling

In Chipiona there is a shopping street with something for everyone. By bus you can travel from the central bus station to Sanlucar, Cadiz, Jerez and the surrounding countryside.

The area is very rich in history. Throughout Andalusia, the influence of the Moors is always palpable. If you are interested in Columus or Magellan, you will not get around Sanlucar. Before our era, Cadiz was the second largest city after Rome. The city still has a special significance for Spain today. We can certainly argue about which town has the better sherry.....

The house has parking facilities both on the premises and in front of it on the street. at the premises, on the road

All side streets in the village are one-way streets.

Esta pareja de alemanes, Fritz y su esposa (Ahora recordamos que no sabemos su nombre, lo sentimos) pasaron once noches en nuestra casa, del 28/2 al 9/3.

Ante todo queremos agradecer el magnífico comentario que hacen de su estancia que, por lo que en él nos dicen, deducimos que lo pasaron estupendamente, aunque lamentamos que el tiempo no les acompañara, ya que llovió casi todos los días y hubo temporales que hacía ya mucho tiempo que no veíamos. Desde aquí queremos decirles que esto no es lo normal, el problema que aquí tenemos es que llueve muy poco.

Casi nada podemos añadir o corregir de lo que dicen en su reseña, pero, al referirse a Cádiz, sí quisiéramos añadir alguna cosa más: Cádiz, la capital de la provincia, es la ciudad más antigua de occidente, tiene más de 3.000 años; fue la capital de España, de 1810 a 1813, durante la Invasión Napoleónica y fue el único lugar de España donde no pudo entrar el ejército francés. Fue en Cádiz donde el 19 de marzo, se firmó la Constitución de 1812, popularmente conocida como “La Pepa”.

The vacation rental is highly recommended. Clean, spacious, nicely furnished, quiet location, a few minutes' walk to the beach. Wonderful large terrace, wind-protected with morning and afternoon sun. The landlords are very nice and helpful, quiet people. Chipiona is a great holiday destination (mostly Spaniards). Worthwhile trips to cities in the vicinity.

Perfect host - very nice apartment - absolute recommendation

Antonio was already a very pleasant landlord from the outset: communication via email was flawless: fast, thorough, and correct. My wife and I only used the apartment for the two of us and cooked daily. The description of the amenities is accurate and complete. The apartment was clean, everything is functional, nothing was missing. We felt very comfortable. The handover of the apartment was super quick and uncomplicated. Antonio had given us a bottle of Muscatel sherry as a welcome gift. . . a delight. For that and for the pleasant time at this place, thank you once again.

Reconocemos que la terraza es uno de los puntos fuertes del apartamento ya que te permite hacer vida al aire libre: desayunar, almorzar, leer, tomar el sol, conversar por las noches, etc.; todo fuera de las cuatro paredes de la casa. Además la terraza es muy privada y está al resguardo de la vista de la calle y de otras viviendas.
Por otra parte procuramos que el viajero encuentre en nuestra casa todo lo que pueda necesitar, y en ese todo también entran las sombrillas y sillas para la playa, cosa que esta familia ahora nos agradece mencionándolo en su extraordinario comentario.

A beautiful accommodation.

Well-located and comfortable apartment with friendly hosts.

We spent the month of June (2017) in this apartment. Chipiona was obviously getting ready for the holidays. On weekends, its lovely beaches were already quite crowded, and the sea water temperatures were quite pleasant. You can reach the sea from the apartment with a short walk; also, the town center is very easily accessible on foot. In the neighborhood, there are many holiday homes, most of which were still unoccupied. It was pleasantly quiet. We spent several hours on the large terrace of the apartment, where you are protected from the sun, but you also generally get a refreshing breeze. The apartment itself is very comfortable, with nice details. In addition, in terms of practical aspects, absolutely nothing is missing: from umbrellas and chairs to take to the beach, kitchen utensils, plenty of dishes, hairdryer, washing machine, dishwasher, towels, etc., to television and air conditioning. In terms of quality and price, it is an ideal apartment. We really enjoyed meeting Mari and Antonio (the hosts). Antonio picked us up from Jerez Airport and took us back there at four in the morning. They did not impose themselves with their presence, but were always immediately willing to provide us with information and help with practical details. Reineke y Willem son una pareja de holandeses, residentes en Groningen que han pasado en nuestro apartamento 4 semanas en junio. Son unas personas encantadoras y muy amables, que por lo que nos dicen en su comentario, lo han pasado estupendamente. Nosotros nos alegramos muchísimo.
Efectivamente, como ellos dicen, en Chipiona hay una gran cantidad de casas desocupadas, son casas de no residentes, de familias que solo vienen en sus vacaciones o, en el mejor de los casos, los fines de semana. Chipiona, en temporada alta, puede multiplicar por diez su población, y el mes de junio no es temporada alta. Esto a algunas personas puede no gustar, que les parezca demasiado tranquilo, pero a otras, como Reineke y Willem, ven ello una gran ventaja, pues tienen kilómetros de playa para ellos solos en las que poder pasear, tomar el sol o disfrutar de la naturaleza; los magníficos paseos marítimos de Chipiona han estado a su entera disposición, y a la hora de ir a un restaurante o a una terraza, siempre han encontrado una mesa esperándoles.
Por medio de estas líneas, queremos agradecer a Reineke y a Willem su estancia en nuestra casa, su valoración y el extraordinario comentario que han publicado en nuestro anuncio.

Nice holiday apartment in a small Spanish town by the sea
If you are looking for a nice holiday apartment in the midst of a quiet Spanish small town, this is the place to be. All information is accurate as stated in the description. Booking is easy and correct (even with German vocabulary). The friendly landlords only speak Spanish (and a little bit of English). They live in the house and are very helpful. In the pre-season, Chipiona is very quiet because the Spanish owners of holiday apartments and houses are absent, except on weekends. Therefore, service in restaurants, tapas bars, and shops is very personalized.

Efectivamente, como ellos dicen, fuera de temporada (su estancia fue en el mes de marzo), Chipiona es muy tranquila, ya que es una localidad donde existe una gran cantidad de segundas viviendas a las que sus propietarios solo acuden en sus vacaciones o en fines de semana en que el tiempo esté bueno, y en marzo lo suele estar. Indudablemente esto es algo a lo que muchos puede no gustar, pero para otros, los amantes de la tranquilidad, es una gran ventaja ya que tienen las playas, los paseos marítimos, etc. casi exclusivamente para ellos, y si entran en un restaurante siempre tiene una mesa esperándoles.
Igualmente queremos agradecer su estancia en nuestra casa que vemos que ha sido de su agrado. Confiamos poder contar con ellos en una próxima ocasión.

We would definitely recommend this apartment.

We stayed in Antonio and Mari’s apartment for a month and found it very suitable for our needs. It is on the upper floor of a charming Spanish-style house and is clean and spacious. It is as shown in the pictures, except with a flat-screen TV now! We made full use of the large terrace, washing machine, laundry lines on the roof, and even the beach chairs that were provided. The Cathedral, Lighthouse, beach, pedestrian street with shops, and several grocery stores are within walking distance. Antonio and Mari live downstairs and were always available, while still affording us privacy. Responses to our emails were prompt and friendly. Antonio, Mari, and their family are very pleasant, and we enjoyed their greetings and smiles. October 2016

Jeannie y Paul son una pareja de norteamericanos residentes en Hawái, que ahora que están jubilados han decidido disfrutar de unas largas vacaciones de varios meses por Europa. En nuestra casa han estado un mes, pues su ilusión era volver a visitar Chipiona, donde tuvieron fijada su residencia 40 años antes, cuando él como militar estuvo destinado en la Base Naval de Rota, a solo 14 kilómetros.
Lamentamos que durante su estancia tuvieran problemas con la señal de wifi que les llegaba muy debilitada; afortunadamente se pudo solucionar. Después de que se marcharon, cuando el apartamento quedó libre, hicimos las reformas necesarias para que esto ya no vuelva a ocurrir; en estos momentos la señal de wifi es óptima.
En su comentario hacen referencia a que hicieron un uso completo de la terraza y es que en el tiempo que estuvieron en Chipiona, final de octubre hasta mediados de noviembre, cuando el tiempo empieza ya a refrescar, en la terraza se está estupendamente, ya que tiene una orientación muy buena, al sur, de forma que el sol da en ella durante casi todo el día y es el lugar perfecto para comer al aire libre, tomar el sol, leer, etc.
Jeannie y Paul son unas personas correctas y educadas, su comportamiento ha sido impecable y la casa la han dejado perfectamente limpia y ordenada.
Para nosotros sería estupendo que un futuro se decidieran a repetir en Chipiona y en nuestra casa, aunque sabemos que debido a la distancia de su lugar de residencia, once horas de diferencia horaria, 35 horas de vuelo con 2 ó 3 escalas, no será fácil.
Nuestro más sincero agradecimiento a Jeannie y Paul por su visita, magnífica valoración y estupendo comentario.

A very nice holiday apartment with everything you need. Especially a spacious sunny terrace, which we used daily for breakfast. The landlords are very friendly and helpful, unfortunately our Spanish skills are too modest to be able to converse better. Everything is clean and well-maintained, you feel comfortable and at home right away. Chipiona is a very likable place without high-rise hotels, but with a great promenade on a fantastic beach. The town center with its pedestrian zone and the bars and bodegas is also very pleasant. Outside, there are other long beaches, with Tres Piedras, where we liked the recommended Chiringuito Prospin the best. One should not miss a trip to Sanlucar de Barrameda at the mouth of the Guadalquivir with a huge selection of tapas bars and seafood restaurants. Overall, a fantastic vacation on the Costa de la Luz, many, many thanks to Antonio and Mari with their family, we hope to be able to come back!

Amazing holidays

My family and I spent all in all 5 weeks in Mr. Fernandez`s house (June, 30-August,1)and enjoyed it very much. Chipiona is a tiny, quiet village, ideal for couples with kids. The house is situated 10-15 mins walk from the city center and about 5-7 mins from a great beach. The house itself is very comfortable, everything is thoughtfully equiped, so you do not need to bother about anything, during your stay. The owner and his wife were very helpful. The communication was immediate and went smooth whatever we wanted. Wether it was an Internet access, or a lift to the airport at 4:30 am (!!!) Antonio was always ready to help. I would definitly recommend the house and its owners. Thank you very much!

Hello, my name is Antonio, and I'm married to Mari. I'm currently retired, but I've been a bank employee for my entire working life. Because of my job, I've been posted to many places in Spain, and beyond, and now, at this stage of my life, I've settled in the best place I've ever known: Chipiona. Chipiona is a quiet town on the Cadiz coast with only 20,000 inhabitants, but as one of the main tourist destinations on the Costa de la Luz, its population multiplies dramatically during the summer months. Chipiona has 14 kilometers of endless beaches with azure waters and fine, golden sand, many of them awarded the Blue Flag. It has wonderful promenades where we can stroll and enjoy the sunny afternoons afforded by the Costa de la Luz climate. I look forward to welcoming you to my home and hoping you enjoy Chipiona.
