Description
This is a great place to spend a holiday: lush meadows and rolling hills, the Alps and Lake Constance not far away, and above them the vastness of the sky.
Our quiet and cozy apartment is furnished with love and offers space for 3 1/2 people. The apartment with winter garden and the beautiful garden invite you to relax and recover. As an ideal starting point for excursions to Lake Constance, the Alps, the Allgäu and Upper Swabia, it offers a varied and interesting holiday for young and old.
The sunny country house apartment is located on the ground floor of our wooden house, which was built using ecological construction methods. Relax in the conservatory of the spacious living room with a view of the idyllic garden. In the cosy bedroom you can enjoy the morning sun or start from here through the garden for your early morning exercise. Eat, read or play - linger in the cosy sitting area, which is part of the fully equipped eat-in kitchen. Let your soul dangle and discover your favourite spot in the large garden, which is wonderfully overgrown and entices you with lush flower beds, bushes, kitchen herbs and berries to pick yourself.
All year round, we offer you every opportunity to relax and unwind or for an active holiday.

Amtzell is located in the hinterland of Lake Constance amidst the idyllic hilly landscape of the Vorallgäu
From here, the view extends to Lake Constance and the Alps. Countless excursion possibilities and activities in the nearer and further surroundings promise a pleasant and entertaining holiday time. Whether wellness, hiking, biking, winter sports, water sports or culture - the Allgäu-Lake Constance region has the right offer for every wish.
Lake Constance is about 20 km away, the Bavarian border about 10 km. The neighbouring countries of Austria and Switzerland are also within easy reach for excursions. If you are drawn to the mountains, in an hour's drive you are in the middle of the high mountains, whether in the Allgäu Alps or near Oberstdorf, whether in the Bregenzerwald or at the foot of the Arlberg.
Take advantage of the favourable location in the green heart between Allgäu, Lake Constance and Upper Swabia and spend a holiday just the way you like it!

If you look at a map of the Federal Republic of Germany, you will find the municipality of Amtzell in the very south in the foothills of the Alps in southeastern Baden-Württemberg.
Ideally located between Ravensburg and Wangen, Amtzell is easy to reach both by car and by public transport. The holiday home is located approx. 700 m outside the village centre on the outskirts.
You can reach Amtzell from the north via the motorways A7 and A96. Leave the A96 at the exit Wangen-West () and follow the signs to Amtzell on the B 32. Coming from the southwest, you can also reach Amtzell via the A96 or via Ravensburg following the B32 in the direction of Wangen.
Distance to Lake Constance approx. 20 km, to Wangen im Allgäu approx. 9 km, to Ravensburg approx. 15 km, to the motorway (A96) approx. 5 km.

A very nice apartment in a quiet location
We were very satisfied with this accommodation. It is very spacious and very well equipped. The terrace also leaves nothing to be desired. The view of the very well-kept and well-designed garden further enhances the good living feeling. Additionally, the landlords are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back. Our focus during the vacation is mainly on relaxation and cultural visits. Everything is accessible by car. Many places can certainly be easily reached by bicycle here. The relative proximity to Lake Constance (about 25 minutes by car) also invites a visit.

Super holiday home
This super beautiful and very clean holiday home is highly recommended.
The location near Lake Constance and the Alps is excellent. The town itself and the surrounding area also have a lot to offer.
The little house is very tastefully furnished with everything you need for a vacation.
The landlord is also super nice and helpful.

Better is not possible.
For us, everything was perfect! Everything you need is there - there is really nothing missing. We cooked for ourselves and the kitchen is fully equipped. But what impressed me the most was the loving decor and cleanliness. The location was also perfect for us. The proximity to Lake Constance, as well as the closeness to the snowy areas with plenty of sunshine - everything was just right. Thus, a heartfelt thank you from us to the host family for providing us with the house.

Dream garden with very beautiful apartment
We enjoy the time in the beautiful apartment with a dreamy garden every time anew and are already looking forward to the vacation next year. The quiet and somewhat off but still central location of the apartment allows you to reach everything on foot, just like in the village. The well-maintained village of Amtzell has everything you need for life. The surrounding area can be explored very well on foot, by bike, or with four paws. The landlords are perfect hosts. Here you can enjoy the peace that we were able to fully experience in the last 5 vacations.
