Description
The Petit Papillon is a small village house in a quiet location at the exit of Soultzeren towards Col de la Schlucht.
The house, built in the 1920s, was completely renovated and newly furnished in 2014/2015. It has a living room with an open kitchen and a shower room on the ground floor, and 2 bedrooms and another shower room on the upper floor.
Internet via WiFi is available free of charge. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator with freezer compartment, stove with oven, extractor hood, dishwasher, and microwave as well as small appliances (Senseo coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster, egg cooker).
Each bedroom has a double bed. In the living room you will find a television with satellite reception of German channels, a DVD and CD player, and for cozy evenings a wood-burning stove. Of course, the house also has central heating. A small terrace and garden invite you to linger outdoors.
A parking space for your car is also available.

It is said the Munster is the most beautiful valleys of the Vosges!
Here one is the cultural landscapes of the Rhine valley as close as the Vosges mountains, from which one views of the Black Forest and - can enjoy the Swiss Alps - in clear weather.
In Münstertal you find a wide range of experience sites, attractions, events and leisure and sporting activities. The regions close to the Col de la Schlucht to Hohneck, Ballon and Thanet are a true hiking paradise for everyone. Inexperienced hikers walking as their money as sporty and ambitious mountaineers. In winter the ski resorts of La Bresse, Le Thanet or Gaschney - just to name a few - for skiing and cross-country skiing. The ski areas can be reached in 20-30 minutes from the house.
Shops:
In direct neighborhood bakery Schaffhauser; in the center there is a butcher's shop, which also offers food; at the lower end of the village is the Ferme Schmidt, where you can get fresh milk, cheese and sausages from their own production. Supermarkets and many other shops of every kind can be found in Münster.

In Soultzeren itself there are two restaurants, in the neighboring Stosswihr see four Pubs and in Münster there is a large selection of different restaurants.

From Germany you reach the Münstertal from direction Kehl / Strasbourg on französche A35 motorway to Colmar. From Freiburg take over Breisach / Neuf-Brisach to Colmar.
From Basel / Mulhouse also leads the A 35 to Colmar.

Cosy cottage in Alsace
Cute little cottage in Alsace / Vosges.
Perfect starting point for hikes in the area.
A great bakery is just around the corner and the local butcher is also very good.
If you like to cook you should bring your own knives ;)
Otherwise, the facilities are very good
We had a lovely time in this cottage .... Thank you very much!

Perfect stay!
The "little butterfly" is a charming cottage, well located, close to hiking trails but also two houses down from a bakery and not far from Munster. The house is small but very well thought out and practical (with 2 bathrooms), the large living room is very pleasant with its fireplace. The house is well heated, and you feel very comfortable there. Easy communication with the owner. We will gladly come back.

Relaxation in the heart of Alsace
We immediately felt at home in the lovingly furnished "Petit Pappillon"! The good communication with Mr Bröder in advance ensured a smooth stay. The house has everything you need. We used the good location for various excursions in all directions.

Four relaxing days in the Vosges.
As the beginning of a small 'Tour de France', we decided to start at this little house in Munstertal - and never regretted it for a moment. Of course, the good weather contributed a lot, but even when it rained once, it was nice to enjoy a little coffee under the glass roof in front of the entrance and listen to the drops. The cozy little house really offers everything you could wish for a few nice days. The decor is tasteful and almost luxurious for a holiday home. The location is a great starting point for hikes and trips in Alsace and the Vosges.
By the way, the handling on site was extremely uncomplicated, so we could feel at home right away. We would come back here anytime!
