For your relaxing vacation, our well-equipped holiday home is available to you.
It is located in the resort of Machtlos and is an ideal starting point for hiking, day trips, motorcycle and bicycle tours, or simply for soul relaxation.

Our house Wigwam can accommodate 4 people. The amenities include, among others, 2 TVs, a dishwasher, a washing machine.

We offer you an overnight stay starting from 43€ per night. Plus electricity/gas according to consumption, one-time final cleaning 45,-€ and 1€ municipal tourist tax per person per day (children under 4 years free).

Of course, your pet is also warmly welcome and included in the price.

Location and surroundings of object

Away from the noise and hustle and bustle of the big cities, our holiday home is located on a plot of approx. 360 sqm in the holiday park Ronshausen (OT Machtlos). It has 68 sqm of living space, distributed over 2 floors. In addition, there is a large terrace facing south
On the lower floor there is the living/dining room, the kitchen, the bathroom and a small hallway with anteroom. On the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms. There is a double bed (140x200cm) and 2 single beds (90x200cm). The state-recognised resort of Machtlos is located in the midst of meadows, fields and an impressive forest backdrop that surrounds the village
Enjoy unadulterated nature, heavenly peace and good air during your stay in our house
Or simply go on an excursion to sights such as the Wartburg (Eisenach), the Wasserkuppe (Röhn), the festival city of Bad Hersfeld, etc. Our house is also an ideal starting point for cyclists and hikers.

Green, quiet location. Attentive hosts.

Quiet holiday settlement in a green location. Italian restaurant at the entrance of the holiday park. Supermarket, butcher, swimming pool in the nearest town. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. We had a relaxing holiday.

Pure relaxation

We were very kindly welcomed by our landlord, who was very accommodating. A wonderful relaxing week, thanks to the quiet location by the edge of the forest, awaited us. The garden with terrace invites you to sit, grill, and linger. Shopping opportunities and excursion destinations are nearby.
We have rested well and say, "thank you very much."

Pure relaxation

A beautiful holiday home with a view of the forest. Hiking trails are right outside the door and invite you to take a walk. There are also interesting little towns to discover in the surrounding area. We felt very comfortable and the contact with the landlord was very nice

Super for relaxation

We were only there for one night, but we can still highly recommend the Wigwam. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. From the house, you can start out on various hiking trails and enjoy the forest and the peace and quiet. In the evenings, the cosy terrace invites you to barbecue and relax - we'd love to come back for a short trip. :)

Cozy house in a quiet location surrounded by nature.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Schade family's single-roof house. Apart from the Wi-Fi (we had no mobile network in the house), everything necessary was available. Washing machine, dishwasher, oven, coffee machine, dishes and cutlery, charcoal grill, and cozy garden furniture on the terrace. The couch was very comfortable. There was a sufficiently large dining table and very comfortable chairs (leather) to accompany it. The settlement of consumption costs for electricity and gas was fair. Even consumables like toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, charcoal, and more were sufficiently available for two weeks. The view from the upper floor of fields and the forest was very beautiful. The fly screens on the windows were very helpful. The weather also cooperated well. The landlord was very nice, courteous, and provided quick assistance. We felt very comfortable. We would love to come back.

Super nice holiday home with very nice landlords.

We spent a few quiet days over New Year's with our daughter in the small thatched roof house. It was really lovely; the cottage is very cozy, and in good weather (at least now in winter) you can enjoy the low sun all afternoon through the large windows. The small kitchen has everything you need, and we also liked the apartment's amenities. In the holiday park, there is a restaurant and a tiny indoor pool with sauna (we didn't test either) and the surrounding area invites you to explore nature with several well-marked hiking trails.
The landlord is really very nice and uncomplicated, and we would definitely come back again.

Very cozy and above all: super nice landlords.

In the summer vacation of 2016, we spontaneously looked for a place to stay in Hesse and found this beautiful thatched-roof house in the Ronshausen holiday park. The vacation was wonderful and especially very peaceful. In the holiday park, there are both rented out and self-used holiday homes. The park itself is located in the district of Machtlos. By car, you can quickly reach the main town and easily shop at various stores. In Machtlos itself, we mainly went for extensive walks in the forest and enjoyed the peaceful nature. The children especially liked the outdoor swimming pool in the village. We were particularly impressed by the warm and welcoming reception from the Schade family. The house itself is very lovingly furnished. Not very large, but completely sufficient for the four of us with two dogs. In the small garden, you can relax with your morning coffee and enjoy the landscape. The check at the end was completely smooth.
We will gladly come back.
