Habertwedt is located 6 km. from Kappeln an der Schlei at Grödersbyer Noor.
Arnis, the smallest town in Germany, is only a stone's throw away
A little tip from us, you should definitely plan a visit to the fishing village of Maasholm
cycling along the Schlei is very popular here, e.g. from Kappeln
via Grödersby through Habertwedt to Karschau and Lindaunis.
A large part of the route leads directly along the Schlei.
a walk to Grödersbyer Noor or bathing in the Schlei is possible about 1 km away, it is very easy to reach on foot.
The bathing beach on the Baltic Sea is approx. 7 km. away, bathing fun for young and old.
Quiet hiking trails through scenic areas contribute to your relaxation. You can also relax with a visit to the nearby recreation and leisure pools in Damp, Flensburg or Glücksburg. Afterwards, these places offer you plenty of opportunities for strolling, walking, eating out and much more.
Gottorf Castle and the Viking Museum Haitabu are also worth a visit.

TOP holiday home highly recommended
We were guests in this beautiful house for 11 nights. We didn't want for anything. Everything was clean and in a well-maintained condition
There is a modern bathroom with underfloor heating and plenty of storage space, as well as a fully equipped kitchen with seating for 4 people
The house is furnished with great attention to detail and lacks nothing. The cosy tiled stove radiates a comfortable warmth when the gas heating is not enough
The house is ideally occupied with max. 4 persons. Our dog was welcome and even a dog blanket and a bowl were provided. The garden is fenced in for dogs and invites you to relax.
The landlords are very nice and helpful. We were able to ask them questions and got great tips for excursions, shopping, etc. We had a great time
We will definitely come again, because for us it was a perfect place of peace and cosiness. Even though the house seems to be out of the way at first glance, it is ideally located for excursions in all directions
Almost all the sights we visited could be reached in 30 to 35 minutes or less (Geltinger Birk, Maasholm, Eckernförde, Schleswig, Kappeln, Arnis, dog beaches on the Baltic Sea.....)
The Noor and the Schlei are only a few hundred metres away and invite you to relax. We took a walk to our favourite spot every day.
It is also important for me to mention that the corona regulations were observed. Mouth guards and distance were observed.
Conclusion: The house and its landlords is/are absolutely recommendable.

Beautiful living
In this house, we have now been for the second time. Which already suggests that we felt comfortable there.
The apartment is on the ground floor and comfortably furnished. Since the weather was a bit cool in autumn, in addition to the heating, we were also warmed by a nice wood-burning stove.
Even our two dogs were welcome, and that is not often the case. The landlords live nearby and are happy to help with any questions.

Cozy living in a beautiful environment
A cozy holiday home, great, comfortable and well furnished. Very friendly and helpful landlords. Great for holidays with children and dogs (meadows directly behind the house and only a few meters to the Schlei). Dreamlike, quiet surroundings but with a variety of possibilities for activities (Baltic Sea, dog beaches, cities, amusement parks, swimming pools, etc.).
