Description

Located between the towns of Amposta, Sant Carles de La Rapita and the Mediterranean in the South of Catalonia in Spain, you will find Finca Frisia.

Finca Frisia is located at the foot of the mountain the Montsia and near the River Ebro and the Ebro delta, one of Spain's most important things natuurresevaten with a great varied flora and fauna with beautiful beaches.

The bungalow is fully equipped, called Casa Gala, whatever it is suitable for a longer stay, for example, Hibernate and is ideally located for hiking, cycling, golf, bird watching, fishing and many water sports activities. Also the beautiful interior with cozy villages, castles, special places and markets is very worthwhile.

The fully fenced area of 15000 m2 offers you plenty of privacy. You have access to a private swimming pool of 9 x meters as well as an outdoor kitchen/BBQ.

Despite the rural-like peace and quiet, you are only minutes away from the main (toll) road and rail links, as well as all kinds of shops and medical facilities in the village of Amposta on miles (3 km) or Sant carles .6 km with cosy terraces, restaurants and beaches .

Worth repeating

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious and clean and equipped with all the conveniences. There was a large clean pool that the children enjoyed. You really find peace there surrounded by greenery and mountains. Beautiful view!
Owners were super helpful and friendly people.
Definitely worth repeating!

Very beautiful location!

Do not hesitate, book quickly.
Very well equipped, very clean, everything there for a top holiday.
The contact with the landlord is very pleasant. Petra and Willem are great.
This was the 4th time we booked with them. Next year we will rent from them at another place

I have been a guest for the second time for 3 weeks

This year, we were guests at Casa Gala for the second time for 3 weeks. Once again, we had 3 wonderful weeks, enjoying the lovely house, the delightful pool, the beautiful surroundings, and the fantastic beaches. The owners were friendly, helpful, and welcoming, providing immediate answers to all our questions. This year, we visited Reus, which was well worth it, and the wine tasting at Cathedral de Vi. Discovered some nice new restaurants in Amposta: for dinner Pitbox 66 (very un-Spanish but nice for a change), sushi at Matuya, and delicious Italian food at the new Trattoria. Also recommend the beachfront restaurant at Camping Ampolla de Bama Beach Club. In short, we had a wonderful vacation. Thank you!

If you really want peace, you have to go to Bora Bora.

We have enjoyed the weather and peace as a family. The children had a great time. Amposta is not very touristy, so if you really want peace, you should definitely rent from Petra. The pool is elevated and lovely, not too deep for children so ideal... We also enjoyed the olive trees and silence.

Fantastische plek

Fantastic place in the middle of nature, yet everything within easy reach with a few minutes by car. The house has everything you need, beds were comfortable, not as hard as often in Spain in our experience. The view is lovely, from your terrace, you only see nature. Covered terrace, which is nice when the sun is shining brightly. And especially great for the children (6, 4, and 0). The older two played wonderfully in the garden and among the olive trees on their own property, so without worrying about traffic. i. d. The swimming pool is at a higher level, so they can't just fall in there either. The smallest one was safely crawling around on the covered terrace.
During this annoying time with corona rules, you actually don't notice anything of it in your own "bubble" here!

Thank you for the good care.

It was the second time we were here, and not for nothing. We have had good experiences with the owners. They are very welcoming and do everything to make the stay as attractive as possible. For example, organizing a fun outing. On Saturday, a drink in San Carlos de la Ràpita in the cafe chippie so you can meet several guests. Unfortunately, the coronavirus threw a spanner in the works. We were in lockdown for two weeks. Hopefully, it will pass soon so the house can be rented out again. Thank you for the good care

The house is well-equipped with all necessary conveniences and equipped with a wonderfully comfortable pool. The house is located in a beautiful area, groceries (e.g. Lidl) can be done nearby. The house itself is comfortable, tastefully decorated, and very practical, everything is very neat and well-maintained. The price for what you pay and what is offered is optimal, very reasonable, and lacks nothing. The landlords, Petra and Willem, are very attentive and warm, if anything happens, they come right away. They are both very nice, discreet, but if desired, they also help you (as desired) to get in touch with the Spanish culture or Spanish life. We were very impressed and therefore decided during our stay at "Casa Gala" to book another vacation in a (different) house of Petra and Willem next year.

We spent 8 weeks in the holiday cottage with the Kraak family. We found hospitality and helpfulness. The cottage is located against the mountains and we enjoyed the expansive view. For runners and cyclists, an excellent place to train in the mountains. Travel companions
