Idyllically situated holiday home!

We stayed in this wonderful holiday home for 2 weeks in September 2021.
The location is perfect for excursions and hikes into the Bohemian Paradise, but also more distant destinations can be reached quickly.
The house is located in a very small and quiet village.
Both the house and the garden are very well maintained and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped and wifi is also available.
The hosts are super friendly and very helpful.
We can highly recommend the house!

A few beautiful days

When we discovered the holiday home we immediately liked it. The house is even more beautiful than on the pictures, everything was perfect. It is comfortably furnished, everything you need is there. We received a friendly welcome from the hostess, who was always available for questions and tips for excursions.
The house is a bit outside in a small quiet village and yet you can be in Turnov or Liberec in 10 minutes. There are many beautiful things to see in the area, the national parks are easily accessible. There are also many good restaurants in the area.

The trip was definitely worth it, we would have liked to stay a few more days and would love to come back.

Great accommodation highly recommended

I have been searching for a beautiful vacation home on the internet for a long time and was immediately thrilled when I saw this property. When we arrived and saw the house and the great location, we were blown away, even better than in the pictures. The house and everything around it is well maintained, designed with attention to detail, everything was very clean and immediately invited to feel good. Fresh flowers and a bottle of champagne rounded off the whole experience, lovingly decorated children's beds made it even more perfect. The hosts, especially the hostess, are warm and truly likeable, you feel very comfortable. For concerns and excursion tips, she is open-minded and has good recommendations. We were here with a baby and a 7-year-old, there are so many great activities in the area that we unfortunately didn't manage to visit everything. That's why we'll come back because everything really fits. Thank you again and see you soon.

For the second time here

A few years ago, I was one of the first guests to stay in this renovated cottage. Because I liked it so much, I came back for the second time. I am again enthusiastic about the location and coziness of the cottage. You can simply feel at home here. Fresh flowers were waiting on the table, firewood was prepared, and everything was ready for a first coffee on the beautiful terrace. The property is very well maintained, full of flowers, and in May, I could already pick cherries right by the house!

For sun worshippers and shade lovers, there are now two terraces at the house, one of which is covered. Also great: Despite the early summer heat of 30°C, it was always pleasantly cool inside the house.

By the way, I never perceived the quarry across the street as a disturbance. Occasionally, the wind blows some sounds over, but it is not louder than one of the few cars in the valley.

I will come back :-)

Secluded vacation

The hosts are very nice. They give good tips for exploring the area. There is a lot of nature to experience in the area. Turnov is the nearest, albeit small town and easily accessible. For us, the city was big enough.
The house is well equipped so far. Cooking went well, there is also a grill available.
There is only one small flaw in the location - there is a quarry on the other side of the valley. Those who sleep with the windows open could be woken up by the stone mills around six on weekdays.
But that didn't spoil our vacation. We can recommend the house with a clear conscience.

dreamy vacation residence

We had a fantastic week in a perfect house with a breathtaking location and views. Nice, German-speaking hosts who take a lot of time for their guests every day. The house has a suitable terrace for every time of day. Tastefully furnished, nothing is missing. Ideal for up to 4 people, a family with 2 children, or 2x2. Individually heated on colder days with a stove or underfloor heating. Highly recommended - we would love to come back here!

Welcoming hosts and a great house in a beautiful location.

We visited with a toddler over Easter. The welcome by the host couple was warm and friendly, making us feel immediately welcome.

The impression of the house matches 100% with the pictures and is consistently positive. It is cozy, modern, and very well-maintained. A fresh bouquet of flowers on the kitchen table enhanced the cozy living atmosphere. The kitchen is also equipped with all utensils. We only missed blinds or curtains for darkening in the bedroom, as we are used to at home. If you are arriving with small children, please consider that the bedrooms can only be reached via a narrow, steep staircase without a railing. In the house, there are some informational materials available for excursions in the area for research. The hostess, who speaks good German, also provided us with many tips and even helped out with coffee that we had forgotten and needed in the morning:-) The WLAN reception was very good for when we wanted to do some research. A really nice couple.

We would highly recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

Winterurlaub

The house was easy to find. When we opened the door, we were all thrilled. It was very clean, cozy, and warm, just perfect to feel comfortable. The wood in the fireplace was waiting to be lit. Everything was very well prepared and with a lot of love, as a fresh bunch of tulips greeted us. The narrow path to the house was cleared of snow every day. The arrival time was completely uncomplicated and flexible. The house located on the hill offers a very beautiful view of the valley, and the terrace covered in deep snow suggests that one can sit outside very nicely in the summer.

Gemütliches Häuschen mit guter Ausstattung

During our New Year's holiday, we felt very comfortable in the house. The extensive equipment is particularly praiseworthy. From many kitchen utensils to games and children's equipment (e.g., a crib), everything is available. Another plus point is the very accommodating landlady, from whom we also received a hiking map and excursion tips.

There is much to discover in the surrounding area: castles, palaces, amazing landscapes... A good starting point for nature lovers to go on adventures. According to the landlady, many destinations can also be easily reached by public transportation (e.g. Liberec, Prague), but we did not try that.

The house is not recommended for guests with severe physical limitations, as there is a small uphill walk from the car to the house and the stairs to the bedrooms on the first floor are very steep.

Overall, a great stay!

Who seeks peace...

The best for our needs. Anyone who wants to be way out there will find what they're looking for here. Since there was no snow for activities during our time, we went hiking. Czech Paradise! Perfect for active people outside of the season. We will gladly come back.

Holiday in the Bohemian Paradise

The house is beautifully situated on a slope. The 180-degree view extends from Frydštejn to Ještěd. The proximity to hiking trails around Mala Skala delights hikers. The special peace at night and the view of the night sky create a particularly romantic atmosphere. The holiday home is nicely divided and offers good comfort. A corner bathtub (also for two) completes the bathing pleasure. The contact with the landlady is pleasant and all arrangements worked out excellently. We really enjoyed it.
We would like to come back again.

A cozy cottage to feel good

A beautifully renovated cottage with a great view of the countryside. Inside, you will find everything you need to feel at home, everything is clean and well-maintained. The host is very warm and helpful, offering advice and assistance (also in good German!). This region of the Czech Republic is still relatively unknown in Germany, but offers something for everyone, whether hiking, canoeing, high ropes courses, visiting castles & palaces, exploring cities, or visiting breweries. In winter, you can also go skiing in the area. Frydštejn is located in a quiet valley and it's recommended to arrive by car, but you can quickly reach beautiful Prague or the German border in Liberec and Görlitz from there. Here you can simply relax and unwind! We had wonderful summer days there and can definitely imagine coming back in winter when everything is covered in snow.
