Description
The newly furnished holiday home "Skrey's To Hus" is wonderfully suited for families who want to spend their holidays with several age generations. Since the ground floor has been built completely barrier-free, people with limited mobility and wheelchair users can also travel along carefree. Your beloved four-legged friend is also a welcome guest.
"Skrey's to Hus" has a bedroom with a double bed on the ground floor, from which you can directly access the barrier-free bathroom and the spacious, tastefully furnished living room
Due to the central location of the house, you can reach the town centre and the harbour on the Schlei, where you will find numerous restaurants, within a short distance. The Schlei region is also wonderfully suited for long walks and bicycle tours.
The spacious living room offers a comfortable sofa set, a large dining table and media entertainment is also provided, as there is a flat-screen TV and a music system with USB connection, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth function as well as radio and CD player. In the kitchen of the house, the usual amenities are available to comfortably prepare delicious meals and there is a small dining area. Right next door is the second bathroom, which has been modernly and stylishly equipped with a shower, washbasin and WC.
Our holiday guests can also spend peaceful nights on the upper floor of the holiday home. Here, there are two more bedrooms and, if required, the adjoining lounge can also be used as a bedroom for a 6th person (passage room to the other two bedrooms).
"Skrey's To Hus" has doors that are all at least 90 cm wide and the terrace can be reached via a 94 cm wide door from the outside via a wheelchair accessible driveway. The accessible bathroom offers a wheelchair accessible sink, shower seat and level shower. In addition, wall brackets, a toilet stand-up aid and underfloor heating have been installed in the bathroom.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is centrally located - the nearest supermarket is only 200 metres away and the centre of Kappeln is only a few minutes' walk away. The Schlei is also only about 1 km away.
The surrounding area is also wonderful for extensive walks and bicycle tours, along the Schlei towards Arnis or on the Baltic Sea beaches, which are only 6 km away. "Skrey's To Hus" is close to the centre of the town of Kappeln. Kappeln offers many small shops, boutiques, cafes and a wide selection of gastronomic offerings. Worth seeing are the bascule bridge on the Schlei, the herring fence, St. Nikolai Church and the Dutch windmill Amanda, where the tourist information is located.
Kappeln became famous through the ZDF series "Der Landarzt" (The Country Doctor), traces of which can still be found in various places today, in the Aurora restaurant, because the regulars' table of the "Deekelsen" residents was held here.

Everything great!
We felt very comfortable in the house. The landlord was extremely nice. Everything was truly wheelchair accessible, we got along well with our daughter in a wheelchair. Everything we needed was available.
