The holiday home is situated in a cul-de-sac, opposite a school. It is a 10-minute walk to the town centre and Lake Werratal, and 100 metres away is a shopping centre with an Edeka market and Aldi, as well as an electronics market. The town is situated in an extensive flood plain on the Werra, at the foot of the Leuchtberg, northwest of the Schlierbachswald and east of the Hohe Meißner.
