In our alpine hut on the Ödenhof in Deutschnofen, in the midst of meadows and forests in a very beautiful and quiet location, you can spend your holiday undisturbed!
As there is only one holiday flat, the house is all yours, you will not be disturbed by any other guests and can find peace and relaxation! The flat extends over two floors and offers space for 4 people. On the ground floor there is an eat-in kitchen, a living room and a bathroom. The cosy kitchen-living room is furnished with a nice dining area and a new fully equipped fitted kitchen and thanks to the wood cooker you can enjoy cosy warmth there. In the living room you will find a pull-out sofa, a small library and board games, as well as SAT-TV, DVD and radio. The bathroom is equipped with WC, shower, washbasin, cupboard, washing machine and fresh hand and shower towels. On the upper floor are the two bedrooms. The adult bedroom is newly furnished and has a double bed, a large wardrobe and a large mirror. Bed linen is also provided. The second bedroom is also new and also child-friendly furnished, there are two single beds, a wardrobe and a baby cot on request. For the children many extras: changing mat, table child seat, a cot, children's tableware and various, nice children's and family games. For your outdoor relaxation, there is a large lawn with a direct view of the mountains, deck chairs, a nice wooden seating set, various games and a sandbox for the children. Games and a sandbox are available for the children.

| the local tax was introduced in South Tyrol in 2014. It is levied by the accommodation establishments. The amount is 1.75 cents per guest and overnight stay for persons over 14 years of age. Children and young people under 14 are exempt from the tax. The local tax is due on departure, is shown separately on the invoice and is in addition to the rental price. The revenue from the local tax is used for the expansion and maintenance of infrastructures and services, as well as for the organisation of cultural and sporting events. This holiday home is remarkable. It starts with the location: alone in a meadow, framed by woods with a magnificent view of Latemar and Rosengarten, you can rest on the lounger and watch the deer grazing 50 metres away. This does not mean that you are cut off from civilisation. A few kilometres away is Deutschnofen with shopping facilities, restaurants and bus stops. These are important, because the Ödenhof is the ideal starting point for excursions to the Rosengarten, Latemar, Zanggenberg, Schwarzhorn, Weißhorn or even to Bolzano. And you can leave your car at home, because as a guest at the Ödenhof you receive a free Guest Card for all public transport in South Tyrol! Be sure to use it! The cottage really lacks nothing. The furnishings are as good as new and tasteful. On the kitchen table we were immediately greeted by a few nice attentions! You are welcome and you notice that at second glance. From the lovingly designed welcome folder with detailed useful information, to the small library, the well-stocked local brochures, hiking maps and guides, the completely coherent kitchen equipment (no hodgepodge of discarded utensils, as you sometimes find), to the ABSOLUTE cleanliness - everything was geared towards us guests. You got the illusion of being the very first tenant! Great! This holiday home is remarkable.

A dream cottage
Our holiday at the Ödenhof was great all along the line. The house is tastefully furnished and lacks nothing. The house is a jewel for those seeking peace and quiet. Here you are completely undisturbed and yet not cut off from civilisation (town 3 kilometres away). The view of the Dolomites is sensational
The landlords are very friendly, helpful and generous.

Get out of the stressful everyday life
I would like to agree with my previous reviewer :-) on everything. View, tranquillity, hiking opportunities ....all brilliant. Almost a bit of luxury in the solitude. The equipment of the house and the cleanliness are hard to beat. After the wonderful hikes and visits to the alpine pastures, we enjoyed the panorama every evening with a glass of red wine on the bench in front of the house and then fell into bed tired and satisfied, not forgetting the cooking on the wood stove, which exudes a cosy warmth. For those in a hurry, there is of course also the luxury of an electric cooker. All in all, we had an all-round successful holiday here and our dog thought he was in paradise. I think that children can also feel very comfortable here, because there is also a playroom for them and a lot to discover in the surroundings.

Simply classy
This holiday home was exactly what we wanted. Great secluded location, if you love peace and quiet this is the place for you. We and our dog enjoyed being alone to the fullest, no one around, yet shopping and restaurants a few minutes away by car. Great hiking routes in the immediate vicinity. You can see immediately that the house has been furnished with love and care, was top clean when we arrived and everything you need was available. Not to forget to mention the very nice and helpful landlords. Our conclusion: we will be back. Best regards from the Upper Palatinate.

It was simply wonderful!
We immediately felt at home in the house and for sure it was not the last time we stayed there. The house not only convinces with its secluded and wonderfully quiet location, with a great view of Rosengarten and Latemar, but also because it was furnished with a lot of love for detail by the landlords. The beds are a dream and we slept like logs. The landlords are incredibly nice, attentive and helpful and immediately made us feel warmly welcome. Our dog also loved the house because he could relax wonderfully on the meadow in front of the house and watch many animals. Almost every day deer could be observed on the meadow in front of the house. Our little "hunter" found that really exciting and thrilling...

Unique view
Nice, small holiday home with a direct view of the Dolomites (Rosengarten and Latemar). The house is ideal for those looking for peace and quiet away from everyday stress (no neighbors as far as the eye can see). It's not a luxury house, but it is fully equipped and sensibly furnished (perhaps missing TVs in the bedrooms for kids). The landlords are super nice and helpful and live about 5 km away!! All the people in the village (not Italians) are super nice and very sociable!! The farmers in the area are also very helpful and generous!! (e.g. Konrad and Michael). And let's not forget about the surroundings - hiking, visiting alpine pastures, taking lifts, fishing, cycling, or strolling around the city (Bozen, Meran), etc. Everything is possible within a 30 km radius. So, you can experience something new every day if you want??!! Or just laze around on the large (approx ??ha) meadows around the house!! P.S. We will be back!! Regards, J., M., and F. from Germany
