Location and surroundings of object
The holiday flat is located on an actively managed wine-growing farm. The furnishings of the flat and the entire property reflect the rural charm of the Palatinate, with lots of wood, plaster and sandstone. The flat is easily accessible on the 1st floor. Ruppertsberg is a village on the German Wine Route and lies 120 m above sea level in the Palatinate in the middle of Germany's largest contiguous wine-growing region. The village has 1400 inhabitants and is part of the Deidesheim municipality. The German Wine Route runs through 80 km of vineyards here along the Haardt Mountains from the Wine Gate in the north of the Palatinate to the Wine Gate in the south on the Alsatian border. A short distance away are the district and spa town of Bad Dürkheim and the picturesque Neustadt an der Weinstraße with its endearing of the village, the Rhine plain gradually rises to the mountains of the Haardt, behind which the Palatinate Forest, the largest mixed forest area in Germany, begins. Very good paths lead hikers and cyclists through flat fields and through a hilly Wingerts landscape to the nearby forest. From there, facing east, a landscape blessed by God is revealed, from which the towers of the cathedrals in Speyer and Worms stand out, and in which, as the fable goes, paradise was once located.
