Description
Since 2014, we have been successfully renting out our beautiful vacation home in Zeeland, Scharendijke.
The vacation home is located so that you can easily reach it from North Rhine-Westphalia in a good three hours.

GROUND FLOOR:
Living room with fireplace and central heating and a large LED TV with HDMI, radio with DVD, USB, mp3. Many German TV and radio channels. Kitchen with combi microwave, kettle, 2 coffee makers (Senseo and filter coffee maker), mixer, egg boiler, dishwasher, toaster, and refrigerator.
In the adjoining room, there is also a freezer and a washing machine.
Bathroom with shower and sauna and separate WC.
Bedroom with double bed. UPPER FLOOR:
3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, children's bed (120 x 60 cm) and TV, two bedrooms with 2 single beds
Second bathroom with jacuzzi and toilet
CHILD-FRIENDLY
Crib, child's washbasin, high chair, safety gate, sandbox, children's seat in the living room, fenced garden, children's toys, children's scooters, etc.
GARDEN
Our garden is beautifully located with a view over the entire island, 1000 sqm, fully fenced, with lots of greenery, garden furniture, and a large terrace. Parking spaces are directly in front of the door.
INTERNET
Our house is equipped with WLAN (Wi-Fi) and is available for free for our guests.
SUPERMARKET
Right next to Zeeland Village Holiday Park, there is a large PLUS supermarket-bakery with a few small shops for flowers, drugstore items, and household goods.
In the morning, you can buy fresh rolls there.
Open daily from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, on Sunday from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, in winter until 5:00 PM.

ZEELAND VILLAGE HOLIDAY PARK
The house itself is located in a modern holiday park, specifically designed for family vacations with children or particularly suitable as a base for an active holiday for sporty vacationers. Depending on your preferences, you can recreate, go horse riding, hiking, swimming, cycling, surfing, sailing, or diving.
The park features playgrounds for children and a tennis court. Bicycles can be rented at the reception. Right outside the park, there is a large supermarket that offers fresh bread throughout the day. Additionally, there are various shops like a drugstore, a liquor store, a flower and plant shop, and a dry cleaner. There is also an ATM within the building.
SCHARENDIJKE
The village of Scharendijke is located on one of the most beautiful North Sea beaches in the Netherlands and is directly next to the Grevelingenmeer, the largest saltwater lake in Europe. On the kilometers-long, fine sandy North Sea beach you can enjoy a classic beach holiday with the family, engage in sports, or relax with delightful extensive walks on the beach or along the nature reserves. There is enough space for all interests. (Designated areas for families, horseback riders, sand yachters, etc., etc.) In the nearby marina, you can rent sailboats or book diving courses, learn to sail, windsurf, and also kitesurf at the sailing and surfing school a few minutes away by car.

Great holiday home

Beautiful house with a wonderful garden
The house is located in a beautiful holiday home complex on the outskirts of the village. The view from the huge garden over the fields is stunning. The furnishings are practical and very comfortable.
In the kitchen, there is everything you need except for an oven. A microwave with baking function serves as a substitute for the oven.
We felt very comfortable there and will definitely come back.

Good vacation home
Been there 3 times and we will definitely come back. Been in September and had a nice vacation. We were there this year with a puppy and the dog ended up in the neighbor's garden. He could just crawl under the fence, which wasn't good. We used whatever was there, from sunbeds to garden chairs, to block the hedge. We always bring our own panels as well, if necessary, and this time it was necessary. The fence was supposed to be in the ground, but it wasn't. Adult dogs wouldn't crawl under it, but puppies would. If the fence were a bit higher, it would be even better for our dogs, greyhounds, but it still worked out fine and we will definitely come back.

Great house!
We stayed in this house with our two cats for 14 days and we are thrilled! The contact with the landlord was very good, also in terms of the coronavirus rules in the Netherlands. The spacious house and the huge garden with lavender, rose bushes, and fruit trees are well-maintained, beautifully furnished, and lovingly decorated. Many furnishings in the house are labeled, even in German, so you know their function (e.g. the fireplace). Utensils and dishware/glasses are more than enough in the kitchen. Wifi was fast and stable. Bicycles are available in the garage on site, and E-bikes can also be rented in the park. Please note the opening hours of the reception, as it is currently rarely staffed.
All in all, we would recommend the house and would gladly rent it again ourselves.

Great house!!!!!!
We had a short break in this house. We felt really comfortable. Nothing was missing. Especially the great garden was a dream. Upon arrival, there was even fresh lilac on the table. We can highly recommend the house and would love to come back. Best regards, Family Engels

Wir haben wieder einen wunderschönen Urlaub in dem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Es ist sehr schön eingerichtet, der Garten ist ein Traum und es fehlt wirklich an nichts . Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Haus befindet sich in einer schönen Ferienhausanlage am Ortsrand. Der Blick aus dem riesigen Garten über die Felder ist wunderschön. Die Ausstattung ist praktisch und sehr bequem.
In der Küche gibt es bis auf einen Backofen alles, was man braucht. Als Ersatz für den Backofen dient eine Mikrowelle mit Backfunktion.
Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt und werden sicher wiederkommen.

Schone 3 mal gewesen und wir kommen sicherlich zurück. lm September gewesen und schönen Urlaub gehabt. Wir waren in diesem Jahr mit einem Hundewelpen und der Hund war auf einmal beim Nachbarn im Garten. Er konnte einfach unterm Zaun durch das ist und war nicht gut. Wir haben von alles was da war von Liegestülen bis Gatrenstühle voor die Hecke gelegt. Wir nemen selber auch immer skinets mit sollte es nötig sein und dieses Mal war es nötig. Der Zaun mus eigentlich in der Erde sitzen war aber nicht so. Erwachsene Hunde würden da nicht u ter durch kriechen aber Welpen schoon. Wenn der Zaun etwas höher wäre würde es noch besser sein in jedem fal für unsere Hunde, windhunde, aber es ist noch immer gut gegangen und noch wir kommen sicherlich zurück ?

Wir waren mit unseren beiden Katzen für 14 Tage in diesem Haus und wir sind begeistert! Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr gut, auch im Hinblick auf die Coronaregeln in den Nierderlanden.
Das geräumige Haus und der riesige Garten mit Lavendel, Rosenbüschen und Obstbäumen sind topgepflegt, schön möbliert und liebevoll dekoriert.
Viele Einrichtungsgegenstände im Haus sind beschriftet, auch auf Deutsch, damit man die Funktion kennt (z.B. der Kaminofen). Gebrauchsgegenstände und Geschirr/Gläser sind mehr als genug in der Küche vorhanden.
Wlan war schnell und stabil. Fahrräder sind in der Garage vor Ort, im Park kann man auch EBikes leihen. Hier auf die Öffnungszeiten der Rezeption beachten, derzeit ist diese sehr selten besetzt.
Alles in allem würden wir das Haus weiterempfehlen und auch gerne selber wieder mieten

Wir hatten einen Kurzurlaub in diesem Haus.Wir haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt.Es fehlte an nichts.Besonders der tolle Garten war ein Traum.
Bei der Ankunft stand sogar frischer Flieder auf dem Tisch.Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben mit 3 Ehepaaren und einem kleinen Hund einen Kurzurlaub im Haus Strand 97 verbracht.
Bettwäsche hatten wir vorbestelt. Wer gut zu Fuß ist, kann zum Strand laufen. Besser und bequemer ist es mit dem Auto. der Strand ist schön und breit. Vermisst haben wir einen Backofen, um Brötchen aufzubacken, sowie Wolldecken auf der Couch und Küchentücher. An die steile Treppe in die obere Etage muß man sich gewöhnen. Sonst war es ein schöner Urlaub mit wirklich tollem Wetter. Schade nur, dass keine Fahrräder zur Verfügung standen. Scharendijke selbst ist klein und beschaulich und nicht so voll, wie andere Orte in Zeeland.
