We would like to invite you to our holiday home, which was renovated in 2013: On 120 sqm living space on two floors you will find four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a modern kitchen with access to the combined living / dining room and fireplace room with satellite TV and couch landscape.
Our non-smoking holiday home is suitable for all generations due to its size and furnishings
Ground floor: Directly opposite the bedroom with double bed (1.60 m wide) are the two large bathrooms with bathtub or shower. We have designed the bathrooms differently: A ground-level shower with rainwater shower in the smaller one, a bathtub for relaxing or for a quick shower down in the larger bathroom; a washing machine has also found its place there
The dryer is in the cellar.
You will quickly find your way around the modern and spacious kitchen. There is enough crockery for up to 8 people. The dishwasher will do the dishes while you continue to enjoy your holiday!
The combined living/dining room is connected to the kitchen by a passageway. The dining room table is generously sized and invites you to long game evenings.
If you would like to use the fireplace in the adjoining fireplace room, you will find instructions on how to do so in the house book, which we have deposited in the sideboard. For us, there is nothing better than a cosy evening on the couch landscape with a view of the flickering fireplace! Or you can make a cosy evening of watching TV in front of an LCD TV with a Blu-Ray player connected.
From the living/dining room you have access to a 30 sqm south-facing terrace where you can breathe in the North Sea air. Please do not forget sunscreen!
Upper floor: In the large bedroom with a view to the south-east you will find the 1.80 m wide double bed and the second TV. The two children's rooms have a view of the garden; they are equipped with childproof sockets. Furthermore, there is a bathroom with WC and washbasin.
In the rear garden, on the left side, you will find a large lawn inviting you to play and romp. On the right side we have found a meadow orchard with apple and plum trees left in their natural state - if you come at harvest time: Feel free to help yourself!
The property is altogether sqm, the garden is fully fenced, so you can also let your dogs run.

The tumble dryer is in the basement.
The kitchen is modern and generously equipped. There is enough crockery for up to 8 people. A dishwasher is of course available.

In the adjoining fireplace room, there is a couch landscape with a view of the fireplace and/or the LCD TV with connected Blu-Ray player.

In the garden there is a large lawn on the left side, while on the right side a meadow orchard with apple and plum trees is kept largely untouched.
Burhave offers rest and relaxation, sports and active holidays, health and fitness. The hustle and bustle of everyday life remains on the country roads when you arrive, as the village is away from all motorways. The supermarkets are open 7 days a week in summer. Restaurants, other shopping facilities, doctors and a pharmacy are within walking distance.
In particular, Burhave has made a name for itself with its outstanding family and child friendliness. The fantastic children's paradise "Spielscheune" and the tide-independent seawater pool "Nordseelagune" are special highlights of a relaxing family holiday.
The landscape:
The North Sea resort of Burhave is the heart of the Butjadingen peninsula, Germany's largest holiday peninsula, located in the Wadden Sea National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Surrounded by water on three sides between the Jade Bay and the Weser estuary, the sea and iodine-rich breezes provide a healthy 'island climate'.
The tides, the fascination of the Wadden Sea and the vastness of the hinterland with marshlands, moors and Geest give this landscape its special character. Rooted in its tradition as a fishing village, Burhave proves to be an "insider's tip" - here the old village structure with its tranquil centre, there the homogeneously integrated holiday, spa and leisure facilities.

The beach, 400 m away, has an artificially created lagoon fed with seawater ("North Sea lagoon"), which makes bathing possible at any time despite the tides. There are also plenty of opportunities to play. In bad weather, you can head for the nearby fun pool in Tossens or an indoor pool. Alternatively, the generously equipped indoor playground "Spielscheune" (with giant slide, climbing mountain, trampoline, bumper cars, bowling and Carrera alley) invites young and old.
the idyllic Fedderwardersiel cutter harbour is 5 minutes away by car. Here you can buy fresh crabs (called "garnet") or North Sea fish. An excursion boat ("WEGA II") regularly calls at lighthouses, a seal bank or a bird island. In the Natural History Museum you will find lots of information about the local maritime species.
Towards the north, Bremerhaven is separated from Butjadingen by the Weser. By ferry, which runs every 20 min in summer, you can reach the centre of Bremerhaven after a 15-minute crossing. The city is particularly interesting for friends of maritime museums ( German Maritime Museum, the Klimahaus or the German Emigration House). The "Zoo am Meer" was able to report the birth of a polar bear cub in December 2013. The shopping mall "Columbuskaje" is located directly in its vicinity.
On the other side of the Jade Bay lies the young town of Wilhelmshaven, founded in 1869.
If you would also like to leave your car behind on holiday, grab a bicycle and "cycle" the peninsula: between Eckwarderhörne with a view of the Jade Bay and Wilhelmshaven and Nordenham with a view of Bremerhaven, there are over 200 km of cycle paths. Perhaps you will meet some boßler during your excursion ... Or you can enjoy extensive dike walks. A riding stable is also within walking distance.

Super vacation with the whole family
We were visiting with 4 adults, 4 children, and 2 dogs. From the booking, service of the management on-site, to the refund of the deposit and the remaining balance, the energy costs, everything was top-notch. The furnishings, especially a washing machine, were very good; the garden for the children and dogs was great. We would love to come back.

Beautiful family vacation
The house is wonderfully located on a quiet street. The beach, shopping facilities, and restaurants are within walking distance. The house is optimally equipped for several people, offering plenty of space. If one doesn’t feel like being around many people at the beach, they can relax in a very large garden with a lawn and fruit trees and two large terraces. We had a wonderful time recovering with three generations.

Great house, close to the dyke
It is a really nice house with everything you need. We felt very comfortable there. The large driveway fits 3 cars, which is an advantage when you are on holiday with several people. The large garden is also great. The bakery, restaurants, the dog beach and of course the Wadden Sea are within walking distance.
Also worth mentioning is the nice contact with the landlady Mrs Ceulaers and Mrs Schröder from the rental service on site.
I can recommend this house in a great location.
