The Hubertus house has two floors. There are two bedrooms upstairs. One bedroom, with a very large double marriage bed, has approx. 40 m2 and a small balcony with a view of the front garden and Lake Skarż Mały. The smaller bedroom has two single beds. There is also a bathroom with WC and shower on the upper floor. On the ground floor there is a large (50 m2) living room with a fireplace and a balcony with a view of the front garden, a kitchen and a bathroom with a WC and a bathtub.
The house is dominated by wood and hunting trophies.
The garden has an area of about 1200 m2. It consists of a front and a back part, where there is a table, garden chairs, umbrella, canopy and the garden shed. In former times, the garden was the pride of the whole area. Nowadays, due to lack of a good keeper, it has gone a bit wild. The uncontrolled growth of the plants has given it a different, but also charming character. The colours and fragrances of the flowers delight everyone who spends time in the garden.

Dargin Lake (Dargeimer Lake)
One of the largest lake areas with an area of 3030 ha. Its length is 10.1 km and its width is 5.6 km. It is a relatively deep lake. The maximum depth is 37.6 m, the average depth is 10.6 m. The length of the shoreline is 37.6 m. Dargin is not an independent lake, it is an element of a water complex known by the common name of Mamry. The lake is connected from the south with Lake Kisajno, from the west with Lake Łabap and further with Lake Dobski and from the north with Lake Kirsajty (passage under the Sztynorcki Bridge). On the northern bank there is also the entrance to the Sztynorcki Canal, which connects Dargin Lake with the small Sztynorcki Lake. On Lake Sztynorcki is the well-known holiday village and large marina of Sztynort. On Lake Dargin itself are the villages of Pieczarki, Nowy Harsz, Skłodowo and Poganty. Pieczarki - Masurian village in the southern part of Powiat Węgorzewski (county) in the commune of Pozezdrze on Lake Dgał Wielki. Near the village there are other lakes: Warniak and Dgał Mały. The village is 8 km north of Giżycko, along the road nr 1732, which connects Kuty and Pozezdrze with Giżycko through Świdry. Beautiful cycling routes run through the village. The proximity of the lakes makes an excellent holiday base. The area is a paradise for ornithologists. More than 100 species of birds live in this area. The area of Pieczarki village is one of the most beautiful places around Giżycko.

Familienurlaub im Hubertushaus
We, as a family of four with quite large children, spent a wonderful holiday at the Hubertushaus. The accommodation is very spacious, cozy, clean, and equipped with everything parents need. The teenagers missed the Wi-Fi, but for us, it was a good rest and the opportunity to spend evenings together playing games. The garden offers plenty of space for badminton or Viking chess. There are various seating areas in the sun and shade, as well as barbecue and fire facilities. Perhaps a few lounge chairs could be provided. Mrs. Jankowiak is very nice, accommodating, and helpful. The location is fantastic, quiet, and situated near large lakes with water sports opportunities. However, a fairly robust car is needed for the typical forest and meadow roads between the small towns in the Masuria region. Great for cycling, hiking, swimming, and birdwatching. We can only recommend this accommodation.

Exelent holiday
A wonderful, clean house with a country atmosphere. Neighborhood (Gizycko) is very interesting. Lakes and forest. We spent a fantastic vacation. The owner Ms. Ewa is very nice and helpful.

Spacious holiday home on a generous plot in a beautiful location.
Rustic furnished holiday home with fireplace, spacious fenced property, carport on the premises. Fully equipped kitchen. Fantastic quiet location in a picturesque Masurian village without "tourist crowds".

Huberthaus
Facilities, location, object very good, were the second may in this object and can absolutely recommend it. 2 km from any road, in the middle of the forest opposite a lake is absolute peace. Pure relaxation for people who want to escape their everyday stress. There are numerous historical sights in the immediate vicinity, which are also relatively easy to reach, such as the Wolfsschanze, diwe Katedrale in Swieta Lipka or the Boyen Fortress in Lötzen. We will definitely be back.

The Huberthaus was built in 1989-91 as a hunting lodge by my parents Henryk and Barbara Jankowiak. The garden was designed by our friend Heinz Lange from Hanover, who put his heart and soul into this work. The house was always a nice change for our family compared to the noise of the big city of Warsaw, where I now live with my husband and son. I and my parents maintained and decorated our little summer residence with reverence. The cottage is located near the beautiful Dargin Lake and a wonderful pine forest. However, numerous duties do not allow us to spend as much time in the house as we would like, so we have decided to share this enchanting place with others. The Huber House is situated between the summer capital of Poland Giżycko (7 km Loetzen) and Węgorzewo (12 km Angeburg) in the middle of "Thousand Lakes". Gizycko is the largest town along the Masurian Lakes water route
