This special farmhouse will surely meet all demands! During a conversion, the former, characteristic features were largely preserved. For example, the room of the former mill with its stylish round arches, which accommodates the comfortable living area with open fireplace, TV, DVD.
The property sleeps 8, in four rustically furnished bedrooms with Air Conditioning (one ensuite) on the first floor, all of them retain old original features, some with arches spanning the room and others with stone roof side supports, quite rare to find in present days on Gozo. The bedrooms are accessible through a wide airy corridor overlooking the pool area, again an old feature which takes you back centuries and gives the place a serene and cool ambiance. This floor is also service with two separate shower rooms.
Facilities include a well equipped kitchen with dining area. Flat TV, DVD and free Wifi, while the bedrooms enjoy Air-condition units which are available to use at an extra cost with an automatic coin box system that is installed in property. The old back garden has been turned into a spacious sun lounge and sizable pool (approx 7x4m) with a build in BBQ area to one side, ideal for a summer evening meal.

Gharb is one of the oldest villages of Gozo. By archaeological excavations were found rests of very old colonies of the early bronze age. The most famous shrine is devoted to "Our Lady of Ta Pinu". The Gharb folklore museum with its 28 rooms is full of antique tools and items and should be visited. At the "Crafts Village" you'll find arts and crafts, which can be bought; partly you can watch the fabrication.

Great holiday with nice care
Here is some feedback on how everything went....
All in all it was very nice. The transfer from the airport to the ferry and from the ferry port to the farmhouse went like clockwork. The return trip was also flawless.
The farmhouse was also perfect. Very clean and well maintained. And the service by Grace was friendly, informative and uncomplicated.
The car was interesting. At the beginning we were a bit scared. It was already very old. But in the course of the week, we grew fond of our little juggernaut, and as you say.... it is absolutely adequate for the narrow roads.
Especially nice were Joe and his sister - very nice, pleasant people - who were responsible for transfer and rental car
All in all, we enjoyed our holiday very much. We came back to everyday life well rested. We are planning to spend the autumn holidays in Gozo again next year.
