It lies in the eye of the beholder.
We have rediscovered this holiday home after years and were very pleased that it worked out so well. Of course, we were warmly and kindly welcomed by the landlord. We had a really nice time. The accommodation had everything you need, a fully equipped kitchen as well as the sleeping area and living area were also sufficiently furnished. Anyone who vacations here or wants to vacation here must truly love simplicity and the natural environment. My husband is a simple passionate fisherman and really enjoyed himself. There was also a boat ⛵ available if one wanted it. There were 2 docks and a small swimming area, which we of course took full advantage of and found really great. I myself have a disability, but I managed very well with a wheelchair and walker there, despite a few uneven spots, which did not bother me at all. For that, there was a wonderful compensation every day with the view of the beautiful lake. On the property, there were free-range chickens and also dogs that simply belonged there.
You can explore the surroundings, and there are also many beautiful excursion destinations.
In short, we really enjoyed it and are already looking forward to the next vacation there.

Great holiday in beautiful natural surroundings
We enjoyed our domicile very much and can only disagree with all the previous reviews. Also the statements about the additional costs and hidden costs did not apply to us. The holiday home is designed for 3 to 4 people and everything you need is available. The house is located directly on the lake and on the small veranda you can enjoy nature at any time of day. A great idea for all parents who want to bring nature and fishing closer to their children. Our son (5 years) was very enthusiastic about the nature, the house and the friendliness of the owners. Bathing, boating, fishing and the landscape with forest walks were a very nice experience which we would always repeat.

hidden extra costs, lovely ambiance
The location is beautiful, right on the lake, but the price of 18€ is not accurate, as you also have to pay for electricity, bed linen (10€ per person), final cleaning, boat usage, and 8€/day for the dog. The new bungalow has an outdoor toilet and a very unusual shower (hot water comes late and briefly). You have to provide everything yourself from dish soap to toilet paper. Our dog cost 8€ per night but had to sleep in the car. In this respect, the handling of money is very stingy. The friendliness of the hosts corresponds to the Mecklenburg temperament, which may be a bit unusual at first but improves later on. We were strictly warned not to sleep on the sofa, as the hostess would check. This was not a very friendly welcome. However, the area and the lake make up for the earlier described issues, but the holiday home is not exactly a bargain.

Mittlerweile hat ein Vermieter-Wechsel stattgefunden, es wurde einiges an der Inneneinrichtung verändert und auch die Zusatzkosten sind ganz eindeutig in der Beschreibung aufgeführt.
Das Wäschepaket (Bettwäsche und Handtücher) bieten wir nach wie vor separat für einmalig 10 € pro Person an, da wir auch einige Gäste haben, die lieber ihre eigene Wäsche mitbringen möchten.
Beim Strom ist es so, dass hier der Zählerstand am Abreisetag abgelesen und berechnet wird. Da nicht jeder Gast gleich viel Strom verbrauch, ist es doch nur gerechtfertigt, wenn man nur für das zahlt, was man tatsächlich verbraucht hat.
Und die Kosten für Boot und Angeln sind natürlich separat zu zahlen, da dies nicht in dem Mietpreis inklusive ist. Nicht jeder Gast möchte hier Angeln oder Boot fahren.

Nice accommodation, but additional costs are way too high; Children not welcome!!
We (2 adults; 1 child 10 years old) stayed at this holiday home for 3 nights over Easter. We arrived on Friday evening and left on Monday morning. Although it was agreed over the phone that I would bring bed linens and towels (as it would cost 10 Euro per person), the beds were made. The landlady and I then agreed to pay half (15 Euro) for the laundry. In addition, there was an extra charge of 9 euros per night for water (the landlord's explanation for the high cost was that "West Germans" constantly leave the water running, and there were three of us who needed to shower). Additionally, we paid 8.28 euros for electricity. I must mention that we were only there for breakfast, did not cook, and did not have the TV on (which was broken the entire time!). When we arrived on Friday night, the house was very cold, so we immediately turned on the heaters. However, they were only lukewarm. Since we were on the road from Saturday afternoon and only returned at night, we did not bother about the heating and only on Sunday morning we asked the landlady about it, that we are freezing and that she should provide us with a solution, since we also pay for it, it cannot be that cold in the house with an outside temperature of 0 degrees. She said that no one had ever frozen in the house and she cannot provide a solution for it. I asked for an electric heater, which they did have, but we would have to pay for the electricity ourselves. What kind of customer service is that? We decided to come back late in the evening so we wouldn't have to sit in the cold. When we returned at 9:30 p.m., the heaters were hot, even though the landlady said nobody had adjusted them. She was rude to our son several times and snapped at him, among other things. because he broke off a small branch from her tree. That could have been said in a different tone!
As I said, a very nice accommodation, but not with this attitude towards tenants who also pay a lot of money.
By the way, the final cleaning does not cost 18 euros as stated, but 25 euros!
