From the terrace you have a marvellous view over the mountains of the Palatinate Forest and the Wegelnburg. The tranquil village has about 1200 inhabitants and has 2 supermarkets, a bakery, butcher's shop, petrol station, bank, hairdresser, doctor, pharmacy and 4 restaurants.
