The Domaine du Papillon is located in the heart of the Médoc on the outskirts of Lesparre-Médoc, in the middle of an enclosed park of 6300 m2 and has a large swimming pool (outdoor) 5x12m.
The guesthouse offers 4 spacious and comfortable double rooms (3 with box-spring beds for maximum sleeping comfort) with private bathroom. Rooms are equipped with flat screen TV incl. DVD player, sitting area and parquet or sisal floor covering. WIFI is available free of charge. Parking area is available on the enclosed grounds.

Location and surroundings of object
Lesparre-Médoc is located about 60 km north of Bordeaux on a "peninsula", called Médoc. The Médoc is separated by the river Gironde from the mainland. Lesparre has about 6000 inhabitants and offers you a good infrastructe. Here you find all what you need for daily life. The Médoc and Haut-Médoc in particular are world famous for their wines (eg Pauillac, Margaux, Saint Estephe and Saint-Julien). Visit the numerous impressive Châteaux nearby.
In 20 minutes /20 km you get to the Atlantic Ocean (Côte d'Argent), eg the cozy beach of "Le Pin Sec" or visit Montalivet with its daily market. The well-known seaside resort of Soulac-sur-Mer is 25 km away.

Towels are changed every 3 days. You will also receive a large beach towel for the pool. Sun loungers and parasols are provided for the pool / garden and terrace.

The Domaine du Papillon is a bed and breakfast.
However, if requested, we offer the entire Domaine du Papillon for a minimum stay of 7 days (5 bedrooms/10 persons max.,self-catering accommodation with kitchen use).

Simply fantastic all around !
After a sumptuous breakfast on the terrace, you can explore the beautiful Medoc region. Back tired, the saltwater pool is ideal for relaxing.
We were able to enjoy honest and warm hospitality. Thank you very much, see you another time !

Wonderful domicile, ideal for all stressed people!
The domain du Papillon is located very quietly in the middle of a park measuring over 6000 m2. Surrounded by a wall, one almost feels like on an island. The chirping of birds and the pool invite you to relax and let your soul dangle. Here, you can regain new strength.
The surrounding area is also very interesting, especially the many castles in Medoc and the sea. If desired, one can enjoy any water sport here.
The hosts are very nice and accommodating, and there is nothing missing at breakfast. Great!

Vicinity of the holiday home: sehr ruhige Lage, man kann gut zu Fuss nach Lesparre laufen und dort in den verschiedenen Läden einkaufen.
free time activities: hier gibt es viel zu besichtigen, die Schösser im Medoc, die Küste, der Süswassersee, usw.
shopping facilities: es gibt alles in der Nähe, ein Auto ist aber von Vorteil

Your hosts: Christoph & Sabine Originally coming from south of Germany we lived for 17 happy years in Alsace, France. We fell in love with the Atlantic ocean and the lovely peninsula Médoc. So in 2012 we decided to realize a long-cherished dream of having a pretty little guest house. With great attention to detail we have developed the Domaine du Papillon into a sophisticated holiday destination and we have created a pleasant atmosphere in an attractive setting.
