We felt comfortable.
Very nice reception upon arrival by the landlord Mr. Decker. We were there with 4 adults, 4 children, and 3 dogs. As far as the accommodation is concerned, everything we needed and even more was there, things that you don't have or have to pay for in other accommodations (e.g. washing machine). The house itself is very spacious and simply quaint, especially the party cellar. The garden was also okay and especially great for the dogs.
Now something about the review from May 23rd. If you look closely, you will always find something ^^. There was absolutely no musty smell to be smelled. Yes, the furniture is a bit old, but they were all stable and you didn't fall through the chair - :) It's an old house, after all.
The garden really isn't suitable for playing football, rather for chilling and listening to nature. If you want to play football with the kids, there is a playground with a football field nearby (about 100 meters).
To make it short, if you want to have a 5-star vacation, you might want to consider taking a closer look at the pictures, as you can see for the most part what you are renting.
Our conclusion is definitely that we will come back.

No vacation to feel good
Unfortunately, it was not a relaxing vacation for us. We were 7 adults and 6 children, and the equipment was quite okay for that. There were enough utensils and plates, seating options, and the room layout was optimal for us. The location is great, quiet but not far from various excursion destinations. The party room was nice. The garden, in principle, too, but very unkempt, not even the lawn was mowed even though I emphasized that we were arriving with 6 younger children. The grass was almost knee-high for us adults, so it was not possible for the children to even play ball. In the pictures, everything looks quite appealing. The furniture is old, which is not a big deal. But the musty smell throughout the house was very unpleasant. Especially the hygiene did not meet our expectations. Since we have visited many different vacation homes, we also know that this one was well below standard. We were happy that the weather was so great and that we only had to spend the necessary time in the house. Actually, a really nice house with a lot of potential.

All good except for the beds
Unfortunately, the condition of some of the mattresses is a negative point. These seem to be in urgent need of replacement. You could feel the springs just by running your hand over them. It was not possible to lie on the stomach, as the springs then stabbed painfully into the ribs.

absolutely recommended
Everything you need was available. Ideal for large families or groups of friends. Beautiful large dining table, fully equipped kitchen, various bedrooms, 3 toilets, garden could be used, grill is available and we used it.
Particularly noteworthy is the party room with a Bullerjan stove, which quickly heated up the room in the evenings.
The holiday home is ideal for hiking trips. Everything can be quickly reached by car. Shopping facilities are approximately 10 minutes drive away. The miniature park in Wehlen is nice to visit. The ice cream parlour Reinholz in Dürröhrsdorf-Dittersbach is absolutely recommended.
We liked everything very much and can only recommend the holiday home.
We will definitely come back again.
