Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday flats are located in a quiet and well-kept residential area. The house has a large garden with barbecue area and seating area, swing and sandpit. To the shop in the village and to the swimming pool it is only approx. 300-500 mtr. To the motorway access Herborn West it is only 5 km. Parking spaces at the house ßes shopping centre approx. 5 KM
You will find many excursion possibilities in the near surroundings, e.g. bird park Uckersdorf, game park Donsbach, Krombachtalsperre, caves Herbstlabyrinth Breitscheid, bell museum and castle Greifenstein, cultural cities with medieval town centre in Limburg, Herborn and Wetzlar, Oranier city Dillenburg with Wilhelmsturm and Kasematten. The Aartalsee, the Krombachtalsperre or the Wiesensee offer water sports opportunities. Herborn-Schönbach is situated at the foot of the Westerwald in a densely wooded low mountain range. The village has a population of approx. In the village you will find a dentist, a general practitioner, a bank, a butcher with shopping facilities, a swimming pool, wave pool in Herborn, tennis court, playground, restaurant, etc. On well-developed cycling and hiking trails you can enjoy the nearer and further surroundings such as the Rothaarsteig, Lahn-Dill-Bergland etc. (maps with well described and explained tours are available). Winter sports possibilities: Cross-country skiing and downhill skiing with ski lift.

Nice house
Thank you for the stay in the house. It is nice and comfortable. Great bedrooms and garden. Very nice to have the cellar with washing machine. The village and surrounding area are beautiful, with great places to. Is it and eat. Would recommend this house as a base to explore the area.
