Stone house, completely renovated in 2013, noble travertine floors and bathrooms, tastefully furnished with the landlord's own artwork. The villa is named after Frida Kahlo, the famous Mexican painter, and designed accordingly.

Location and surroundings of object
The villa is situated in a quiet side bay of Kalkan, in the district of Kalamar, sheltered and very (!) quiet. 200m away from the house you can swim in the unbelievably clean sea (Kalkan has excellent sewage techniques with a central sewage treatment plant!), on a rocky beach with an entry possibility and platforms for sunbathing. But you can also walk the 5 minutes back to the villa after a swim in the sea and relax on the large terrace with its own pool Kalkan has developed in recent years from a small fishing village into a very charming villa settlement. No mass tourism, rather an upmarket clientele, Kalkan is also called the "Sylt of Turkey". The green cliffs close to the sea and the mountains are very attractive, not only in high summer, but all year round. The "Lycian Path", one of the most beautiful long-distance hiking trails in the world, passes by the house.
The choice of good restaurants is excellent, very tastefully decorated, mostly terrace restaurants with a beautiful view over the bay, every meal an experience!, both in the old town (approx. 15 to 20 minutes walk) and in the immediate vicinity.
Beautiful sandy beaches can be found 5 and 15 km away (Kaputas and Patara, one the most beautiful, the other the longest sandy beach in Turkey). A very beautiful villa with top amenities.
A very beautiful villa, quietly located. We had rented several villas before, but rarely had one been so well equipped. Everything you need is really available. Very nicely and cozily decorated. The villa is very clean. We felt very comfortable here, and if we ever come back, it will definitely be Villa Frida again. Mr. Grothe, thank you very much for allowing us to be your guests.
