The holiday flat is located with a separate entrance on the ground floor of a detached house with a garden and a small outdoor seating area
The combined living and bedroom is about 23 sqm, has a double bed (2 beds can also be combined) and a sitting area that can be quickly and easily converted into one or two extra beds (1mX2.20m or 2mX2.20m, core mattresses). A baby cot can be added free of charge
In the kitchen-cum-living-room, which is separated by a door, you can prepare your own meals
Adjacent mini-bathroom with shower and toilet.
Wi-Fi is available to a limited extent.

Location and surroundings of object

The bright and quiet holiday flat is located in Freital's high location (Windberg) 300 m from the Dresden city border, whose city centre can be reached by car in approx. 13 minutes. The city bus takes you to Dresden's main railway station in 17 minutes. In 3 minutes walking distance you can reach bus stops to Dresden, Freital, Bannewitz or Possendorf. There is a bakery, a restaurant, a café, a general practitioner, a supermarket in 4 minutes by car (shopping service is possible by arrangement) and the motorway A17, which leads to Prague, in 8 minutes.
Hikes are possible to the nearby forest of the Windberg, the Kaitzbachgrund, the railway embankment. Freital is a small town, which borders directly on Dresden and has 38000 inhabitants. There is a cultural centre, a leisure sports park (indoor swimming pool with slide, sauna area, tennis, ice rink, bowling, fitness), 2 outdoor swimming pools, Burgk Castle with mining and art museum, hospital. You can take the steam-driven narrow-gauge railway through the picturesque Rabenauer Grund to the Malter dam and hike back along the Weisseritz river.

Gem with a view

If you are looking for proximity to nature and at the same time to the pulsating city, this is the right place.
Already from the window, you have a magnificent view over the expanse of the Freitaler Valley, a few minutes to the bus, which takes you to Dresden Central Station in less than 20 minutes if necessary, or to the Deuben regional station in less than 10 minutes. It is also just a few meters from the Windberg or the former route of the "Semmering Railway".
Tastefully and comfortably furnished, box spring beds for restful sleep and tranquility...
Whether you are a "sleeping guest" visiting family in the area, a business traveler, or someone looking for relaxation for an eventful vacation, this address is worth remembering.
And a hostess who does not lack kindness and good tips.

Individual and peaceful

We had a very nice stay. The flat is small but nice and equipped with everything you need. It is located in a very quiet and beautiful area of Freital.
Mrs Richter is very kind and friendly and makes a lot of effort to make the guest's stay as pleasant as possible
If you don't know Dresden and the surrounding area, Mrs Richter is the right person for insider knowledge (culture, events, museums or excursions)
We enjoyed our stay very much and thank her for the wonderful 4 days!

A relaxing weekend

A very nice stay in the holiday apartment! I was there in November with my girlfriend to explore beautiful Dresden. Everything you need is available on site. A room with a TV offers enough space for 2 people, the bathroom is small but nice. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and appliances. The way to the bus stop is not far and you can reach Dresden in about 15 minutes. Everything was great. Thank you very much Mrs. Richter and greetings from Bremen. Beautiful location

We felt very comfortable. Super beds! The small kitchen also offers everything you need. Great mountain location. Dresden can be reached quickly from there. But here you can also discover gems like Castle Burgk, Castle Weesenstein and the Rabenauer Grund with the excellent restaurant in the Rabenauer Mühle. The landlady is very pleasant and helpful. Gives good regional tips.

cozy, individual, and friendly

We stayed in this cozy holiday apartment with our toddler around Easter time and had a great time: everything you need for self-catering; lots of peace and quiet; good transport connections to Dresden; nature excursions nearby; very kind care, especially for our little one (we could even borrow a baby bath for the shower :-)); bakeries and beautiful running routes (thanks for the insider tips, Mrs. Richter!) in close proximity. . . Our car had a good parking spot nearby. Comfort factor top-notch due to the decor and color! Both the child and parents slept very well. If we want to stay near the border of Dresden again, this vacation apartment is definitely our first choice!

Completely satisfied and recommendable

Mrs. Richter was very concerned about our well-being and always approachable and reachable. The vacation rental is equipped with everything necessary. Only disadvantage: the sink in the bathroom is quite small, and the space in front of it is quite cramped. The shower is hot with a strong stream. We could sleep wonderfully in bed. The radiators are equipped with digital thermostats and easy to adjust individually. Actually, we had mainly come to Dresden for the New Year's concert. Because we felt so comfortable in the vacation rental, we extended our stay by 2 days. Parking is not available in front of the house, but nearby. Bus stop and bakery are also close by. Additional shopping options in the town or in Dresden. However, you can use the driveway for loading and unloading. The vacation rental is ideal for 1-2 people, possibly with a (small) child. Non-smoking.

Cultural vacation alone

Spent a week in May 2014 at the ARi Windberg vacation rental. The apartment is simple but equipped with everything you need. The landlady is very nice, accommodating, and uncomplicated. The apartment and the entire house are well-maintained, as are the neighboring houses. The environment is very quiet. In the apartment, you will find extensive maps and information material. The city center of Dresden is easily accessible by car and bicycle (slightly uphill on the return trip, but not steep) (personal experience). Although I have never been to the city with public transportation, there is a bus and an S-Bahn stop nearby.
The price of 18 euros or 20 euros per night for one person is very affordable! The only small negative point of criticism from my side is the lack of parking at the house (however, there are two secure public parking lots near the house where you always get a parking spot).

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die direkte Umgebung ist eine ruhige, gepflegte Wohngegend.

free time activities: Das Dresdner Zentrum mit vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten ist ca. 6 km entfernt. Auch nach Meissen, Pirna, die sächsische Schweiz und zum Elberadweg ist es nicht weit (und das sind nur einige interessante Ausflugsziele!).
In der Wohnung liegt umfangreiches Karten- und Informationsmaterial.

shopping facilities: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf sind fußläufig erreichbar.

Schöne Ferienwohnung

Just by looking at the house, we immediately felt comfortable. The apartment has everything you need. A very nice landlady anticipates your every wish and the quiet area allows for pure relaxation!!!
We can definitely recommend this holiday apartment!

Vicinity of the holiday home: Die Ferienwohnung liegt mitten im Grünen mit wunderschönem Blick ins Tal!

shopping facilities: Ein kleiner "Tante-Emma-Laden" für das Nötigste. Außerdem ist ein guter Bäcker in der Nähe.
