Our holiday flat is nicely furnished with natural wood furniture and is ideally suited for a beautiful holiday in the spa town of Trautenstein. The holiday flat has a separate entrance, is located on the ground floor (3 steps) and is optimally designed for 2 people.
There is the possibility of an extra bed in the living room for 1 to 2 people on the pull-out couch (family with up to 2 children).
Outside you will find the parking space on the property and a sitting area.

Bedroom with 1.40 m wide double bed and wardrobe;
fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker and sink, toaster, kettle;

The Heindorf holiday flat is located on a side street in the centre of Trautenstein. You have a parking space on our property and a small outdoor seating area with garden furniture and a green border. The holiday flat has a separate entrance. The climatic health resort Trautenstein is located in the idyllic valley of the Rappbode surrounded by wooded mountain slopes and herb meadows. The almost untouched nature with spicy forest air, the secluded valleys along the Rappbode pre-dam, the clear streams on the pristine meadows and the Harz mountains invite you to go hiking, cycling in summer and skiing and winter hiking through the enchanted winter forest in winter.
At the spa house on the Rappbode is a large sand playground with a climbing castle. In winter, when there is enough snow, the cross-country ski trails are groomed through the snow-covered forest and meadows. A new cycle path to Hasselfelde, 5 km away, was completed in 2008 for cyclists. Horse lovers are also catered for: in Trautenstein there is the possibility of excursions on horseback or in a carriage.
A special attraction is the radio tower of the Harz narrow-gauge railway on the Bärenhöhe at Carlshaus. It offers the daring climber on the upper platform a magnificent panoramic view of the Harz mountains and, on a clear day, a view as far as the Kyffhäuser and Josephskreuz on the Auerberg. History and culture buffs are welcome in our chronicler's room and in the baroque half-timbered church with its wooden barrel vault and horseshoe gallery, which was completed in 1701. On the 300th anniversary of its consecration, the church was extensively renovated and now shines in new splendour.
In summer, a special highlight is the annual Schützenfest. Three great days of celebrating, with the shooting out of the kings, guest kings included, with dancing and disco and the legendary parade of the dressed men on Sunday morning with egg collecting and lots of fun. Trautenstein is a small village with two bakers, a hotel with restaurant and an ice cream parlour. All other shopping facilities, restaurants & cafés, banks and a petrol station can be found in Hasselfelde, Tanne or Benneckenstein, 5 km away.
Due to our central location, Trautenstein is the ideal starting point for excursions to all regions of the Harz and the Harz foothills. The towns of Hasselfelde and Benneckenstein can be reached quickly by bus or car, and from there you can explore the beautiful Harz mountains with the Harzquerbahn.
