Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is located in Bredene, a small seaside resort near Ostend.
It is located in Zeebos Holiday Park in a quiet side street. The beach is 550m away and within walking distance, even with small children.
A bakery is within 5 minutes walking distance and also offers fresh bread on Sundays.
There are numerous supermarkets in the village (Lidl, Aldi, Colruyt). Once a week there is a market in the village.
The natural dune landscape is particularly attractive and can be explored on foot.

75% vacation rental for 0% vacation
Preliminary: We are giving three stars everywhere, even though we cannot provide a rating because we could not go on our vacation.
General review:
We had rented two vacation apartments independently from each other with a family friend. When it became clear that we would not be able to travel due to the coronavirus pandemic, the family friend canceled the contract. The landlord then informed them that he would retain 50% of the rental payment already made as a cancellation fee. Upon receiving this information, we also canceled the contract, as we considered a 50/50 solution fair. However, we only received 25% of the rental payment back. After several requests to inform us of the reasons why we were only refunded half as much as our befriended family, the landlord explained that he had made a mistake with the befriended family. We were asked to contact the befriended family and split the overpaid amount halfway. Simply unbelievable! We had no chance to take our vacation. At the latest at the Belgian border, we would have been sent back and the landlord would have kept 75% of the agreed rent.

Entspannung PUR
Hello,
we have stayed several times in House No. 122 in the beautiful Bredene for holidays and are once again totally thrilled :-)
The new colors make it very cozy, the furnishings are modern, and nothing is missing.
We could go for long walks on the beach, and our Eli was also thrilled. We had a lot of fun and arrived home well-rested.

Cozy little house, situated in a quiet area
Last year we spent our vacation in the cottage. We liked it very much. Sufficient space, cozy and quiet location in the park. Direct proximity to the swimming pool located in the holiday park. Everything you need is available.

Unfortunately a big disappointment
All in all, we are very disappointed. Of course, one does not expect luxury. But cleanliness and amenities should be good. There were yellow stains on all blankets. The bicycles offered were all unfit for riding. The dishwasher is way too small, not even the plates fit in there. The amenities are very outdated and not clean. One gets the feeling that the furniture was no longer needed privately and was now just put in the holiday home. Sad and unloving. We were looking forward to our vacation very much. Much too high electricity costs and additional fees deducted from the security deposit without agreement, for alleged increased cleaning effort in addition to the final cleaning of €60. No willingness to talk. Too bad.

Ausstattung 1* - das Haus ist komplett ausgestattet uns Sie hätten schreiben sollen, was angeblich fehlt!
Preis/Leistung 2* - Zeigen Sie mir bitte andere Häuser die Sie für 3 Personen + 2 Hunde in diesem Zeitraum ( Hauptsaison!) günstiger bekommen hätten!
Service 0,5* - Tips zur Umgebung , Essen und Trinken, Fahradverleih- zu all diesen Fragen haben Sie umgehend Antworten bekommen. Und zu den Fahrrädern wurde Ihnen explizit geantwortet: ... wir können für die Räder keine Verantwortung übernehmen , da sie auch einen Platten haben könnten! Das es zu diesem Zeitpunkt so war, ist leider so. Dementsprechend werden die Fahrräder von uns auch nicht extra beworben!
Lage 4*- wie beschrieben!
Erhöhter Reinigungsaufwand dafür, dass Ihre Hunde scheinbar wie zu Hause auf allem rumspringen durften. Eine Couch und die Betten im Nachhinein von den kurzen Haaren Ihrer Hunde zu reinigen gehört normal nicht zum normalen Reinigungsablauf unserer Raumpflegerin. Und genau solche Leute wie Sie sorgen dann dafür, das unsere Betten und Decken dann hinterher so aussehen, wie Sie sie verlassen haben! Wir persönlich erwarten, das man als Mieter seine eigenen Decken als Unterlage für seinen Hund mitbringt und dementsprechend benutzt!
Wenn man ebenfalls eine Duschstange kaputt macht und sich nicht, wie mietvertragsmäßig vereinbart beim Vermieter meldet dann sehen wir uns im Recht Ihnen diese Instandsetzungskosten in Rechnung zu stellen. Im Übrigen ist das nicht kollegial gegenüber den nächsten Mieter!
Die Spülmaschine ist klein, funktioniert und wurde bisher noch nie beanstandet.
Stromkosten wurden wie vorher preislich angegeben Kw genau abgelesen und betrugen für eine Woche mit drei Personen 16,-€. Wem das zu viel ist...
Wir haben vier mal angerufen, einmal auf den Anrufbeantworter gesprochen und nachweislich eine Mail geschrieben, wer war denn da nicht gesprächsbereit? Schlechtes Gewissen...?
Wenn man eine Bewertung abgibt, sollte man bei der Wahrheit bleiben.
