Description
The log cabin, a wooden house with a pointed gable roof, is located in a quiet bungalow settlement that is secured with a barrier. Various bodies of water, cycling and hiking trails are immediately accessible. Our Rehwiese 12 is the perfect retreat for recharging energy and enjoying nature. Alone or as a couple, with friends, with the family, with grandchildren, or with your four-legged companion: We want you to feel comfortable and spend a relaxed time. The 2-story A-frame holiday home features on the ground floor a large panoramic window, a beautiful wooden floor, a large open-plan living and cooking area, and a top-modern bathroom. On the upper floor, accessible via a comfortable wooden staircase, there is a large open sleeping area with 4 beds. The open living and cooking area is equipped with a dining area, a pull-out couch, a TV, and a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and washing machine - and many other small, loving details.
The bathroom has underfloor heating for colder days, a sink with hot/cold water, and a walk-in shower. On the large front terrace, you can relax, just as on the natural green space behind our Rehwiese 12. Here is the grill - for grilling, you will find charcoal, lighters, and barbecue utensils in the garden shed. There is also space to store your bicycles.
The entire area around Rehwiese 12 is great for grilling, relaxing, sunbathing, and - for the little ones - swinging. :-)
The cabin is located in a landscape protection area and is therefore not fenced in! If you bring your four-legged friend, a mobile dog fence can provide safety. The mobile dog fence of about 20 meters only helps to fence off the terrace. The whole outdoor area cannot be fenced with it. Rehwiese 12 is therefore only suitable for dogs or dog owners who can ensure that the dog remains on site even without a fence. If your four-legged friend is with you, please bring your own blankets, bedding, and sheets to protect the furnishings and cover the bed and couch.
You can rent bicycles and even a dog trailer for your stay. Please mention this when making your booking.

Enjoy nature in the Oderland region in our holiday homes, which have been renovated to a high standard using natural building materials and lovingly furnished. Each of our Rehwiese holiday homes has its own individual touch. They are located in various places around or in Groß Lindow, close to various cycling and hiking trails, Lake Müllros, Lake Katja, the Oder-Spree Canal and the Schlaube.
Each of our holiday homes has green spaces, some of which are fenced off and as natural as possible, because wild bees and insects always find shelter and food in our flowering meadows. So you can fully immerse yourself in the local nature.
Our houses are therefore the ideal starting point and at the same time the perfect retreat to relax and enjoy nature. Whether for a holiday or for remote work. Both work much better with a view of nature. Whether for a few days or for a longer period. For high-quality digital workshop settings, you can also borrow additional equipment from us.
Alone or as a couple, with friends, the whole family, with the grandchildren and/or with your four-legged companion: we want you to have a good time. To make sure that your four-legged friends feel comfortable right from the start, we provide some dog extras (e.g. bowls, treats, dog walking bags, etc.) and lots of personal tips from us on where to find the best dog bathing spots and dog walks in the area.

We value a personal check-in and have compiled all our insider tips for shopping, dining, etc., in a folder for you. And for all dogs, there is also their own dog folder, in which we have compiled our best dog walks in the area and all sorts of other useful things. You are also welcome to rent bicycles from us, including a dog trailer. This is the best way to explore and enjoy the area. We provide towels and bedding for each person – so you don't need to bring anything related to that.

Wonderful
We can only recommend the beautiful accommodation. The days were very relaxed and restful. We enjoyed the tranquility very much, and our dog did too. You actually have everything you need. We will definitely come back.

Familienurlaub
First of all, it must be said that the landlady was very nice. Unfortunately, there is a world of difference between the pictures on the internet and reality. The interior is tidy, which cannot be said of the terrace. The railing is already rusting, and the boards in between would have needed a fresh coat of paint long ago. The whole property is unkempt, which has nothing to do with being "natural." We were 4 adults and 1 toddler, and this house is not suitable for that at all. The bedrooms are tiny and have no doors. We had to live out of our suitcases all week because there were no closets to store our clothes. Overall, the whole facility has aged, and it seems that nobody cares about making it look nice. We were lucky to have good weather and made the best of it. Tip to the landlords: make a major effort to spruce everything up and only rent to a maximum of 2 people.

Liebe Gäste, es ist immer persönliche Ansichtssache, was ein jeder genau unter "Natur" versteht. Für uns bedeutet es absolut hohen Komfort in den Innenräumen, wie Fussbodenheizung etc. - alles soweit wie möglich aus Naturmaterialien - vornehmlich massivem Holz - und dem Zulassen von soviel Natur wie möglich im Außenbereich. Wir lassen bewusst Dinge rosten und natürlich altern. Viele Dinge, wie zum Beispiel die Schaukel werden aus alten Materialien "zu neuen Leben" erweckt. Auf Hochglanz poliert und "klinisch rein" im Außenbereich verträgt sich nicht mit unserer Philosophie. 40 m² bleiben halt auch 40 m² , das wird auch vor Ort nicht mehr. Die gesamte Anlage ist kein "Feriendorf", sondern wird von vielen Anwohnern, die eben alle hier die Natur schätzen, gemeinsam gepflegt. Auch hier hat das Zulassen von Natur höchste Priorität. Das gesamte Areal ist nämlich direkt im Landschaftsschutzgebiet. Wir werden in den Beschreibungen weiter darauf achten mehr auf diesen Umstand hinzuweisen, damit überzogene Erwartungen, die eher auf ein klassisches Feriendorf passen, nicht enttäuscht werden.

Pure Nature with Dog & Co.
We had the great pleasure of "living" here with our two dogs in this beautiful little house for almost two weeks. Thanks to the good Wi-Fi, we were able to work during the day and enjoy the wonderful nature around us with our dogs in between. The evening highlight was the barbecue right behind the cottage in the middle of nature. Fantastic. A dream for real nature lovers. The peace and tranquillity make you feel totally at peace. We are looking forward to coming back next year.

Nature, cycling, bathing and city holidays
We stayed in the Rehwiese 12 holiday home for a fortnight in June. The proximity to Frankfurt/Oder enabled us to visit our daughter, participate in her student life and the city life of FFO. We also had frequent visitors - namely squirrels and rabbits hopping through the garden. At the same time, we enjoyed afternoons of reading in the pleasantly overgrown garden, where only birds and the rustle of the forest could be heard. We found the house exactly as the friendly landlady had described it (beautifully renovated and fully equipped). The summer heat required consistent ventilation on the sloping upper floor, where thanks to the fly screens we could open the windows without hesitation - despite the plague of mosquitoes. Lake Helene is within easy walking distance and at the same time you don't hear anything of the summer hustle and bustle. When houses in the neighbourhood are inhabited, the idyll can sometimes be torn apart by loud Swabian voices, but with a little initiative for moderation, this could be steered into peaceful channels.
All in all, a wonderfully eventful and relaxing holiday.

Top Ferienhaus
Very beautifully located small thatched roof house with lovely furnishings and location. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Well suited for two people with a dog or pet, it may be tight for 4 people. The service and communication were very good and friendly. The location is very nice. 900 meters to Lake Helene and plenty of forest behind the house, perfect for walking. I can simply recommend the house and the area. Would book the house again anytime.

Very nice!
Friendly landlords, lovingly restored and maintained cabin, good facilities for self-catering, and a very nice location. With a bike or car, everything is easily accessible, and you are quickly in the beautiful scenery of Lake Helene or the Schlaube Valley. Without means of transportation, one might feel a bit isolated, although the swimming spots at Lake Helene are within walking distance.

Great vacation in the middle of nature
The cabin delivers as promised - plenty of space for the five of us without any issues. The "welcome greeting" in the fridge was cute, very hospitable. The location is beautifully quiet, on the edge of a holiday home development. The Helene Lake can be reached quickly, where you can also get bread rolls for breakfast. The Helene Lake itself is very clean, unfortunately, the beach wasn't always, but that was due to the excellent weather and the corresponding number of guests. You can also get tips from the host for an alternative bathing beach! Otherwise, you can reach a lot and also do a lot from the Finnish hut - tips and maps are kindly available in the Finnish hut!
