Description
With a living area of approx. 115 sqm, the cabins offer space for up to 6 people. They are built and furnished for disabled access and can be used barrier-free by wheelchair users. Parking spaces are located directly at the cabins.
There are several boats available for hire, with or without motor. Two special boats are available for wheelchair users.
On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with kitchen compartment, a bedroom with double bed, a shower room with WC, a sauna, and a utility room with washing machine and dryer. The living room, the bathroom (handicapped accessible) and the hallway have underfloor heating.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, electric cooker with extractor fan, oven, microwave, coffee machine and refrigerator with freezer compartment. The kitchen cupboards are electrically height-adjustable for wheelchair users. From the living room you enter the approx. 25 m² large terrace facing the fjord. Resting on the terrace furniture, you can enjoy the magnificent view across the fjord to Vikafjell in the south.
In the living room, the cosy corner sofa invites you to spend relaxing evenings in front of the wood-burning stove. A satellite TV (with German channels) is also available. The ground floor is tiled; the stairs and upper floor have wooden floorboards.
On the upper floor there are another three bedrooms (electric heating), as well as a washroom with WC.
A cot can be provided on request.
In addition to the stairs, the upper floor is also accessible via a one-metre-wide wheelchair bridge.

Location and surroundings of object
The Sognefjord lies 80 kilometres north of Bergen.
It is the largest fjord in the world with a length of about 210 kilometres.
The small town of Balestrand is halfway along the fjord. Here the fjord arms Esefjord, Fjærlandsfjord, Sværefjord and Vetlefjord stretch northwards.
The cabins are located on a wide headland directly on the shore between Vetlefjorden and Sværefjorden, with a magnificent view to the south of Vikafjell.
In the summer months, the cabins are in the sunshine from until o'clock.

great location, dreamlike view, very nice landlords
It was a very nice vacation again. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. Great and well-equipped holiday home in a fantastic location with a fantastic view of the fjords and mountains. We would love to spend our vacation there again and enjoy it. Regards to our landlords from the Meiling family.
