The "Uckerseen" apartment is located on the upper floor of a newly renovated former barbican building, offering space for up to 6 people (and two more beds on demand in the living room), away from road traffic.
Right in front of the house there is a meadow with a sandpit, and on request beach chairs and umbrellas. Or, simply chill out on the furnished wooden terrace, which accommodates up to twelve people and is perfectly suited for breakfast, barbecues or smoking in peace and quiet. For long nights, an open outdoor fireplace and a fire bowl are available. Your children will enjoy our trusting sheep.
Special feature:
The crane migration in autumn is a singular experience. Occasionally, the beautiful big birds will gather nearby the house, their trumpet calls being audible into the distance.

Location and surroundings of object
The apartment is located in the lowland area of Uckerniederung adjoining the Schorfheide heathland, both of which are protected preservation areas. The beach of Unteruckersee lake is on a path running through pristine landscape. The next train station is within 25 minutes' walking distance. With its gently rolling countryside of woodlands, fields, and lakes, the idyllic Uckermark district, which is also referred to as the "Tuscany of the North" by insiders, is one of the most beautiful regions of Germany and was declared a designated area of sustainable tourism in 2013. Enjoy walks through a habitat of diverse flora and fauna, as well as swimming, fishing and paddling in crystal-clear, natural lakes, where motorboat traffic is prohibited.

Location
The house is far away from the traffic. It is a 40-minute walk directly into the countryside and down to the bathing area at Unteruckersee. Seehausen railway station is a 35-minute walk away.
Location
Because of the more distant shopping facilities, it is advisable to travel by at least one car; 4 car parking spaces are available at the house for 2 holiday flats.
Arrival
We kindly ask you to arrive between 16:00 and 19:00 for the handing over of the keys and to leave by 10:00. Other arrival and departure times must be agreed individually.
