Location and surroundings of object
The property
On half a hectare you will find many different places where you can enjoy your stay:
A seat in the shade of a huge laurel tree, a romantic spring, other seats with a beautiful view of the landscape.
The highlight, however, is the small stream in which the water flows all year round. Here, too, there are various places where you can refresh yourself, enjoy the splashing or build dams.
The property and the surrounding area offer many opportunities for rest and relaxation, but also many opportunities for play and action, adventure and nature discovery for young and old.
The nearest towns
are São Luis and Cercal. Both are 5 km away and offer everything for daily needs (butcher, baker, supermarkets and market halls), several cafes and restaurants.
Vila Nova de Milfontes is the nearest seaside town (19 km - approx. 15 min by car).
In the middle of the Alentejo
The Alentejo is a region of Portugal that is not very well developed for tourism.
The unique coastal strip is part of the nature reserve "Sudoeste e Costa Vicentina" and offers an ideal habitat for a wide variety of fauna and flora.
Here you have wonderful hiking opportunities also on several signposted hiking routes.
The coast is rich in fascinating beaches and bays, such as Malhão, Vila Nova de Milfontes with the mouth of the river Mira (especially suitable for families with small children!), Almograve, Zambujeira do Mar or Carvalhal.
They invite you to be active in sports - or just to relax.

The Alentejo, especially the district of Odemira has few confirmed corona falls.
Nevertheless, everyone is very careful here and there are good simple rules to keep your distance. This does not detract from the warmth and helpfulness of the Portuguese.
Although I live on the property myself, it is easy to keep your distance here too and, if you wish, to avoid contact altogether. It is very important to me anyway that my guests can spend a good time here undisturbed.
