A wonderful vacation

We traveled as friends and rented both of the holiday apartments as well as the holiday home. Both were lovingly furnished. We didn't miss anything.
The location is very good. Fortress Königstein, Papststein, Bastei, and Bad Schandau are nearby.
We got to know our landlords, the Hanitzsch family, as very open, warm, and helpful people.

Simply great

Thank you very much for the wonderful accommodation. We found two beautiful, modern and tastefully furnished, sparkling clean apartments. Everything was available that the heart desires, whether in the kitchens, in the outdoor area, the WLAN or the other technology. In addition to the inquiries about whether everything was fine and the immediate remedy if there were any wishes, the super nice hosts also provided hiking, excursion and dining tips. We felt completely comfortable and well taken care of. The connection between FeWo Ruth and Kurt was ideal for us. We will definitely come back. We can only recommend the offer!

Successful vacation

We were greeted very friendly and provided with great excursion destinations. In the accommodation itself, there are also all kinds of travel guides, etc. Nothing is missing. The house is lovingly and stylishly furnished. The location of the house is ideal because you can move in all directions on foot or by car. The view from the bedroom (which is on the top floor) of the cliffs is really fantastic. We enjoyed it very much and will definitely come back. Refuel and relax from day 1.

We really enjoyed our Pentecost holiday with the Hanitzsch family! Thanks to the beautiful surroundings, the cozy holiday home, and the friendly landlords, my daughter and I felt comfortable from the beginning and had a relaxing and lovely time. In the village of Papsdorf, we were surrounded by beautiful nature and from the bedroom, we had a great view of the Schrammsteine in the Saxon Switzerland National Park. We were the first guests without a car for the Hanitzsch family. For us, this was not a problem at all, as many excursion destinations and starting points for beautiful hikes are easily accessible on foot or by public transportation. Unfortunately, the vacation days passed by far too quickly. . . but we console ourselves with the fact that we certainly won't be the last time in the Saxon Switzerland and as guests of the Hanitzsch family. . . .

Great holiday accommodation and nice landlords

We were able to spend very nice days with the Hanitzsch family. The holiday apartment is very beautifully furnished. Many small details in the equipment as well as in the furnishings were thought of. We would also like to say a very warm thank you to Mr. Hanitzsch who provided us with tips on the area, firewood, and other small niceties. There is nothing more beautiful

The holiday house is very clean and beautifully decorated. It truly has everything you need. Dining table, sofa with fireplace, clean bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, and much more.
The location is very good. From the holiday house, you can visit the Papsstein restaurant in just a few minutes. From there, you already have a fantastic view over the entire Saxon Switzerland. The usual destinations like the Bastei are easily accessible by car. The Hanitzsch family is very loving.

Pure relaxation!

To take a few days off, I went in search of a quiet holiday home. I was not disappointed. Dreamily situated holiday home in the Saxon Switzerland with a wonderful view. The landlords are extremely accommodating and nice, so I immediately felt very comfortable. The cottage is furnished with great attention to detail, everything color-coordinated beautifully. It really lacked NOTHING. In the small, sweet kitchen, everything you need is available; I didn't miss anything while cooking. There is always plenty of wood provided for the great fireplace, so you can totally relax on days when the weather isn't so great. Towels and bed linen are also provided - a big plus.

I can absolutely recommend this holiday home; I will definitely come back myself.

Wonderful hiking week!

Holiday in the Saxon Switzerland

While searching for a suitable property in the Saxon Switzerland, we discovered the Hanitzsch family's cottage and the choice was easy and we were not disappointed. We spent 1 week in Papstdorf, despite not-so-great weather, but the rain couldn't dampen our mood in the lovingly furnished, meticulously planned holiday home. The hosts were also helpful and supportive, always ready to assist. The excursions in the surrounding area offer something for everyone. But enough of the praise, it's best to convince yourself and go on holiday with the Hanitzsch family.

In late August 2014, as a couple, we spent six wonderful days with the Hanitzschs. From the first minute we arrived at the farm, we felt very comfortable. The small house is completely restored, in top condition, and equipped with everything you need to live and feel comfortable. The valuable tips from the warm hosts for exploring the nearby area were very helpful. Our daily highlight was the evening hike to Papststein and the associated restaurant. You must experience this sunset.
We have rested very well and can highly recommend a vacation in the Hanitzsch holiday home and the wonderful Saxon (as well as neighboring Bohemian) Switzerland.

Honeymoon

We rented the house for 14 days in June 2014. In fact, we spent our honeymoon there and we are still thrilled. The house itself is tastefully decorated, well thought out, and furnished with attention to detail. Highlights for us were the Wi-Fi and underfloor heating. But even small things like sorted TV channels were taken into consideration. Definitely one of the best properties we have visited so far, and we regularly travel to this and other regions, always renting vacation apartments or houses. The landlords themselves are very nice, unobtrusive people who are always open for questions or small talk. Therefore, we are happy to give full points for this vacation and accommodation.

free time activities: viel Grün und die schönen Berge laden zum Wnadern ein (auch für weniger geübte sicher gut zu bewältigen), Freibad, SPA und Kletterpark sind in der nahen Umgebung, Dresden als Großstadt ist gut mit PKW, Bahn oder Schiff erreichbar.

shopping facilities: ohne Transportmittel nur beschränkt erreichbar, mit PKW gute und ausreichende Möglichkeiten, Bäcker Fussläufig erreichbar, ebenso einige Restaurants

Sweet holiday house in a wonderful environment

The beautiful cottage is centrally located in the Saxon Switzerland region - not far from the Prebischtor in the Czech Republic. The cottage is in top condition, very clean, and lovingly furnished. The use of the small pavilion in the outdoor area is also a bonus. We felt very well taken care of. The hosts truly deserve the title of being hospitable.

This holiday home is not one of the "usual standards", but a listed jewel that has grown on a hill, restored by its owners with visible attention to detail and equipped with the highest comfort and modern amenities. shopping facilities: Die Bäckerei in einigen Schritten Entfernung vom Ferienhaus bietet alle nötigen (Über-) Lebensmittel und Kleinigkeiten an, auch die Tageszeitung... Golden Autumn

A lovingly handcrafted holiday cottage with a fantastic panoramic view from the bedroom window on clear days. It was more than enough for two people, and there was a lovely fireplace for cozy hours. Gerd, the "housefather," made sure there was plenty of firewood every day. We wholeheartedly recommend the holiday cottage and the town of Papstdorf.

Pure vacation from the very first minute!

The holiday home is very centrally located in the area of Saxon Switzerland. All the sights of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains can be easily reached by car or bus. Papststein, Pfaffenstein, Gohrisch, etc. can be hiked from the holiday home. You can see the Schrammsteine from the bedroom. The house itself is great for 2 people, a bit limited for 4 people. Very nicely and functionally furnished, very friendly and helpful landlords! What more could you want!

Ein großer Edeka Markt ist gut erreichbar in Königstein. Außerdem befinden sich im Ort Papstdorf zwei Gasthöfe, sowie eine Baude auf dem Papststein.
