Description
The Gerhard house was lovingly renovated and restored by us. New floorboards have been laid in all areas
The house is newly and modernly furnished and can sleep a maximum of 6 people. You have a bedroom with a double bed, a children's room with a single or double bed - depending on your needs. There is a sofa bed in the living room
The sunny kitchen offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday: 4-burner gas cooker, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave.
In the house we have a small library with paperbacks. You are welcome to take a book with you, if you put a book you have read on the shelf
There are also reading books for the smaller children and some family games.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is situated on a plot of approx. 2,000 sqm. The large garden located at the back of the property invites you to play, relax and drink coffee. Our fruit is looking forward to being eaten. Groß Schacksdorf is a small, tranquil village surrounded by fish ponds and lots of nature. There is a small shop in the village.
Larger purchases can be made in the rose town of Forst, about 7 km away.
Here you will find the oldest rose garden in eastern Germany, which can be easily reached by bicycle. You can start your excursions by bike or inline skates directly from the house. Therefore, it is also very suitable for cycling holidays with children. 90 % of the cycle paths lead through the neighbouring forests. Within a radius of 3 to 25 km you can visit a monkey zoo, theatre, cinema, zoological garden, a glassworks, a chocolate factory, forest lakes and much more. Prince Pückler and Erwin Strittmatter also invite you to search for traces.

Very good.
Very beautiful and well-equipped holiday house. The garden and play equipment for the children are great. Simple coordination with the very nice landlords! All around great.

Vacation to relax
We can highly recommend this accommodation for families with dogs. The vacation apartment leaves nothing to be desired and even with several people, there is sufficient space. The terrace invites you to cozy evenings without restricting the furry friend. For children, the huge garden is a true delight.
If you don't know what to do, the hosts have great tips. The folder is also filled with lots of information and there is something for everyone, whether it's hiking, cycling, swimming, or culture.
The vacation house is an excellent starting point to explore and fall in love with the Lausitz region.
We will gladly come back.

Great cottage where nothing is missing
Great equipped holiday home, from where you can explore the Lusatia perfectly. Even an open garage and a sitting area in the garden (with furniture) are available >class. as well as fly screens on all windows !!!!
