Description
The Gerhard house was lovingly renovated and restored by us. New floorboards have been laid in all areas
The house is newly and modernly furnished and can sleep a maximum of 6 people. You have a bedroom with a double bed, a children's room with a single or double bed - depending on your needs. There is a sofa bed in the living room
The sunny kitchen offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday: 4-burner gas cooker, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave.
In the house we have a small library with paperbacks. You are welcome to take a book with you, if you put a book you have read on the shelf
There are also reading books for the smaller children and some family games.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is situated on a plot of approx. 2,000 sqm. The large garden located at the back of the property invites you to play, relax and drink coffee. Our fruit is looking forward to being eaten. Groß Schacksdorf is a small, tranquil village surrounded by fish ponds and lots of nature. There is a small shop in the village.
Larger purchases can be made in the rose town of Forst, about 7 km away.
Here you will find the oldest rose garden in eastern Germany, which can be easily reached by bicycle. You can start your excursions by bike or inline skates directly from the house. Therefore, it is also very suitable for cycling holidays with children. 90 % of the cycle paths lead through the neighbouring forests. Within a radius of 3 to 25 km you can visit a monkey zoo, theatre, cinema, zoological garden, a glassworks, a chocolate factory, forest lakes and much more. Prince Pückler and Erwin Strittmatter also invite you to search for traces.

Great, no problems at all.
It is a clean house. The owner values the maintenance of the property and the surroundings. If questions arise, he is always available for clarification. The house matches the description. We lacked nothing. The holiday home is located in a quiet area. Shopping facilities, restaurants, and attractions are reachable by car in a few minutes. In short: highly recommended.

A very great accommodation
Those who desire a quiet location and relaxation should definitely check in here.
Everything is there, super nicely furnished, with all the amenities. The cleanliness and order are top-notch.
Also absolutely family- and pet-friendly with a huge garden.
The hosts are very friendly and nice.

Vacation to relax
We can highly recommend this accommodation for families with dogs. The vacation apartment leaves nothing to be desired and even with several people, there is sufficient space. The terrace invites you to cozy evenings without restricting the furry friend. For children, the huge garden is a true delight.
If you don't know what to do, the hosts have great tips. The folder is also filled with lots of information and there is something for everyone, whether it's hiking, cycling, swimming, or culture.
The vacation house is an excellent starting point to explore and fall in love with the Lausitz region.
We will gladly come back.

Es ist alles da, super hübsch eingerichtet, mit allem drum und dran. Die Sauberkeit und Ordnung alles tip top.
Auch absolut Familien -und Haustierfreundlich mit riesigen Garten.
Die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und nett.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.
Die Ferienwohnung lässt nichts vermissen und auch mit mehreren Personen hat man ausreichend Platz. Die Terrasse lädt zu gemütlichen Abenden ein, ohne das die Fellnase eingeschränkt ist. Für Kinder ist der riesige Garten eine wahre Freude.
Wenn man nicht weiß was man alles machen kann, haben die Gastgeber tolle Tipps. Auch die Mappe ist sehr gut gefüllt und es ist für jeden was dabei, egal ob wandern, Fahrrad fahren, schwimmen oder Kultur.
Das Ferienhaus ist ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt um die Lausitz zu erkunden und lieben zu lernen.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leider ist kein Backofen vorhanden und die Backfunktion der Mikrowelle hat sich mir nicht wirklich erschlossen.
Die Unterkunft, die Vermieter waren sehr sehr netz!
Das Wetter war ein traum sodass wir sogar den neu errichteten Sandkasten nutzen konnten und der kleine fühlte sich pudelwohl!
Unternehmungen waren sehr schön und es gab viel zu sehen für gross und alt!
Wir danken für jeden einzelnen Tag bei ihnen und kommen ganz sicher wieder!
Das einzige Manko ist der weite Weg für Gastronomische Unternehmungen... Und ohne Auto ist man leider aufgeschmissen.
Aber es sollte ja auch ein erholsamer Urlaub werden! Vielen Dank
