Our house is located near the centre of Bezau - between the church and the mountain railway! In the immediate vicinity you will find restaurants and inns, as well as shops and the bus stop. Bezau has a lot to offer.
83 km of marked hiking trails for hikes in unique nature, an active weekly programme with cheese route hikes, outdoor discovery tours or a ride on the Wälderbähnle make your holiday varied and exciting at the same time.
The Bezau cable car takes you comfortably up to the Baumgartnerhöhe, where a breathtaking view and the new panorama restaurant await you.
Bezau as the terminus of the former Bregenzerwaldbahn is now the attractive starting point of the approx. five-kilometre train ride in the "rhythm of the old days". The Wälderbähnle runs from the end of May to October alternately with the more than 100-year-old steam locomotive or one of the historic diesel locomotives.

Winter magic time in Bezau
Winter in Bezau means being active, trying out new things, cherishing the things you love and, above all, having time for yourself and your loved ones.
The all-year bus line 34 takes you directly to Mellau-Damüls, the largest skiing area in the Bregenzerwald, only 5 km away from Bezau. The family skiing area Andelsbuch/Niedere can be reached comfortably with the Bezau cable car.
NEW from winter 2011/12: Ski school in Bezau
A new children's area is being built on the special roof, which will provide our young guests with an entertaining and successful ski school experience. The ski instructors offer group and private lessons for children and adults for alpine skiing and snowboarding. The ski school team is also happy to make guided ski tours by appointment.
With 40 shops and many excellent restaurants, days off the slopes in Bezau become a stopping-off and shopping experience.
Our hiking and Nordic walking professional Pius Feurstein has put together an active week programme for your senses. For example, you can rediscover your urratmung and primal movement on a snowshoe hike

The holiday flat in Bezau (own floor with own entrance) consists of 5-6 double or triple rooms, (depending on demand!!! - not all rooms have to be booked) a great lounge with typical Bregenzerwald tiled stove, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen and great covered balconies.
Holiday flat medium (4-5 persons)
The holiday flat in Bezau consists of 2 separate, spacious bedrooms for 2-3 people each, shower/WC, TV, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen and a really beautiful covered south-facing balcony.
On the same floor, there is a great lounge with a typical Bregenzerwald tiled stove for children to play in.
Small flat (2-3 persons)
Our "small holiday flat" approx. 45m² is completely renovated and available again on 1st May!
It consists of a kitchen-living room, a separate bedroom, shower/WC, and TV.
Because it is at ground level and has direct access to the garden, it is ideal for a family with one or two children or senior citizens.
Flat with mini kitchen (2 persons)
The flat consists of a bed-sit room for 2 persons, separate shower/WC, a mini-kitchen, TV and a really nice south-facing balcony.
On the same floor there is a great lounge with a typical Bregenzerwald tiled stove.
