Our very well-maintained and appealing house is situated in a quiet location, but still with the best transport connections in the countryside at the foot of the Waxensteine and on the meadows in the direction of Garmisch Partenkirchen.
Our holiday flat offers space for 2 - 6 people and thus also for holidays with family and friends.
The large living room with additional sofa bed allows for a relaxing get-together with panoramic views of the Waxensteine and Alpspitze. You have a wonderful view over untouched meadows to the Wank from the bedroom with double bed (additional washbasin). The second bedroom has two single, separate beds.
The new kitchen is fully equipped with a cosy dining area.
Furthermore, the approx. 75 sqm flat has new light-coloured wooden floors, a hallway with wall cupboard and wardrobe, as well as a bathroom with shower and separate WC.
You can also expect: free internet access WLAN and a parking space in the courtyard. TV, radio / CD, microwave, cooker with oven, coffee maker, kettle, egg boiler, toaster, alarm clock, bed linen, hand and bath towels, hair dryer and on request cot, high chair. Children's tableware, changing mat and bath for the little ones.
Storage space for your bicycles, skis, sledges or pram, as well as some books, DvDs / films to borrow.
On request, the bakery will deliver freshly baked goods until 7 a.m. from Wednesdays up to and including Sundays and public holidays, so that nothing stands in the way of a good breakfast before every day of your holiday.
The Zugspitze railway station and bus stop (5 minutes on foot), as well as the well-maintained cross-country ski trails almost adjacent to the house are immediately accessible, many hiking trails start here, so that you have an ideal starting point for relaxing holidays from our house at any time of the year.
The entrance to the Höllentalklamm gorge is also only a 5-minute walk away, and the Eibsee lake is within easy reach.

Grainau is almost free of fog and offers many recreational and sports facilities. Osterfelder-, Kreuzeckbahn, as well as the Kandahar downhill run can be reached comfortably by foot or with Zugspitzbahn in no time, you can already see them from the balcony.

Absolutely recommended - feel-good holiday!
The flat is very nice, spacious and has enough room for several people. It has two balconies with a fantastic view of the mountains and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could need, we cooked every evening and didn't miss anything! Very neat and clean, comfortable beds, bright and cosy furnishings. With the guest card it is very easy to take the train or bus through the area, also to go shopping at Aldi/Edeka or to make trips to the Eibsee and the Zugspitzbahn. There is parking directly at the accommodation. We felt very comfortable, the contact with the hosts is exceptionally warm. They take care of everything and are always available. Even during the stay, they are a great help with tips and information about the surroundings. We can unreservedly recommend this flat and will gladly come again!

Very nice flat with a unique view of the mountains
We had a great holiday in the newly renovated flat! It has everything you need for a great holiday, you can not only cook but even bake, lots of storage space for luggage, wonderfully comfortable beds. We felt very comfortable, the peace and the view are simply priceless! Great hiking trails and cross-country ski runs start right at the house and 2 mountain railways (Kreuzeck/Kandahar and Alpspitze) are even within walking distance or just 4 minutes away with the Zugspitzbahn. The Zugspitze can also be reached quickly and stress-free and you can leave your car if you want (free parking in the courtyard), because both the Zugspitzbahn and the bus (free with the spa card) start only 4 minutes away on foot. A folder with great tips for the holiday was also waiting for us, the friendly and always helpful hostess was also happy to answer any questions. And not unimportant: special hygiene corona measures were carried out very well. We are already looking forward to our next holiday!

the charm of the 50s
The attic flat we rented exudes this. From the living room there is a wonderful view of the Waxensteine, so we ate there instead of in the kitchen, which has only a tiny window. You can't beat the peace and quiet in the flat. The cog railway station and Höllentalklamm gorge are very close.

Haben uns zum wiederholten Male sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch die fussläufige Lage zur Zugspitzbahn ist ideal.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön, großzügig geschnitten und hat genügend Platz für mehrere Personen. Sie hat zwei Balkone mit traumhafter Aussicht in die Berge und die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man so brauchen kann, wir haben jeden Abend gekocht und nichts vermisst! Sehr gepflegt und sauber, bequeme Betten, hell und gemütlich eingerichtet. Man kann mit der Gästekarte super einfach mit der Bahn oder mit dem Bus durch die Gegend fahren, auch zum Einkaufen zum Aldi/Edeka oder um Ausflüge zu machen zum Eibsee und der Zugspitzbahn. Parkplätze gibt es direkt bei der Unterkunft. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern ist außergewöhnlich herzlich. Sie kümmern sich um alles und sind jederzeit erreichbar. Auch während des Aufenthaltes sind sie mit Tipps und Informationen zur Umgebung eine große Hilfe. Wir können diese Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir haben in der neu renovierten Wohnung einen tollen Urlaub verbracht! Es ist alles vorhanden, was man zu einem schönen Urlaub braucht, man kann nicht nur kochen, sondern sogar backen, sehr viel Stauraum für Gepäck, wunderbar bequeme Betten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Ruhe und der Ausblick sind einfach unbezahlbar! Tolle Wanderwege und Loipen starten direkt am Haus und 2 Bergbahnen (Kreuzeck/Kandahar und Alpspitze) sind sogar fußläufig erreichbar oder in nur 4 Minuten mit der Zugspitzbahn. Mit ihr ist auch die Zugspitze stressfrei schnell erreichbar und man kann das Auto stehen lassen wenn man möchte (freies Parken im Innenhof), denn sowohl Zugspitzbahn wie auch Bus (kostenlos mit der Kurkarte) starten zu Fuß nur 4 Minuten entfernt. Auch eine Mappe mit super Tipps für den Urlaub wartete auf uns, die freundliche und immer hilfsbereite Gastgeberin beantwortete außerdem gerne alle Fragen. Und nicht unwichtig: Spezielle Hygiene Coronamaßnahmen wurden sehr gut durchgeführt. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Urlaub !

Den versprüht die Dachgeschosswohnung, die wir gemietet hatten. Vom Wohnzimmer aus wunderbarer Blick auf die Waxensteine, so dass wir dort gegessen haben, statt in der Küche, die nur ein winziges Fensterchen hat. Die Ruhe in der Wohnung ist nicht zu überbieten. Zahnradbahnhof und Höllentalklamm sind sehr nah.
