Welcome to the holiday apartment – Bey Pechthold in Meiningen! Here you can enjoy a comfortable home on 64 m² for up to 4 guests. The apartment offers a bedroom with a double bed. If single rooms are desired, we can arrange that for you. In the kitchenette you will find everything you need to prepare your meals: stove, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, and coffee machine are available. An espresso machine is also provided, as well as a soda maker. Plenty of dishes, glasses of all kinds, and cutlery are ready for use.
You can park your car in front of the house free of charge. If you are traveling by bicycle, we can store it securely.
Our accommodation is near the Werratal cycling trail.
After a day full of experiences, you can relax or visit one of the most beautiful inns in the city. It is not far – you can reach it in just a few minutes on foot. The "Goldene Zwinger", the "Henneberger Haus" or the "Schlossstuben" in the castle rotunda look forward to your visit.
Don't miss the chance to eat a bratwurst at the market or "Hüt's un Brüh" in the Ratsstube.
Enjoy peace and tranquility here in Meiningen, between the Rennsteig and the Rhön. All excursion destinations are not far away and are also easily accessible by train. Welcome to the airy heights of the 4th floor. We have a seat with a comfortable bench for our guests right by the house. If you like, use the grill. Smoking is permitted in the outdoor area.

The Keßler family has been rooted in Meiningen for many generations, and thus living at Kreuzstr. 13 has a long tradition for the family. Thekla and Eduard Keßler had the house built in 1902, and it was later owned by Lydia and Max Kessler. Later, it belonged to the family of Hans-Joachim Kessler, my father, who, after his apprenticeship as a locksmith at RAW Meiningen and his engineering studies at TU Dresden, lived and worked with his family in Berlin. In the meantime, my parents have passed away and I have had the responsibility since 2011. Together with my partner, we were able to give the house a fresh look, carried out many renovation works, so that you are now standing in front of this beautiful building. I myself was born in Berlin and have now lived for more than 30 years in this up-and-coming city on the Werra, which has always fascinated me.
