Our holiday home (first rental in July 2009) is idyllically located directly on the North Sea dyke. It is about 200 m to the sandy beach. In the unique dune landscape, families, active holidaymakers and sun worshippers alike enjoy the salty-fresh sea breeze.
The allergy-friendly non-smoking holiday home is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired with its 115 m². 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living-dining room, bathroom, gallery and guest toilet leave room for a large family/or grandparents accompanying their family. (extra bed for children possible)
Enjoy the view from the gallery to the evening sun and the North Sea or your coffee and the morning sun on the terrace.
The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, cooker and oven, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker and food processor, as well as a waffle iron and cake pan. The washing machine is available free of charge.
You can spend a relaxing evening in the sauna. The bathroom was completely redesigned in 2017/18. In autumn or winter, the wood-burning stove provides cosy warmth. Afterwards, you can relax while watching TV, a DVD or listening to your favourite music. Several games, books or DVDs round off the relaxation possibilities in the house.
Beach toys are available for use by our holiday guests.
A towel and linen package for each guest can optionally be provided (subject to a charge). All additional costs for water and electricity are included in the price. Parking is free of charge directly in front of the house.
The healing climate is outstanding. Ideal for people with allergies, neurodermatitis and bronchial asthma. The healthy sea air has a high content of salt, iodine, magnesium and other trace elements.
Friesland also has interesting cities and charming towns such as Wilhemshaven, Jever and Wittmund.

Location and surroundings of object
Idyllically situated directly on the North Sea dike, our cozy holiday home in Swedish style awaits you. A moat surrounds the property. There is plenty of space here to play and relax.
In our allergy-friendly non-smoking house, you will find everything you need for a pleasant stay on 115 m². In 2011, we were awarded four stars by the German Tourism Association. Enjoy your breakfast on the large veranda, directly on the Graft (secured), and last but not least, the beautiful sunset from the comfortably furnished gallery.
The two balconies invite you to sunbathe, or you can simply enjoy the fabulous view.
In just 5 minutes on foot you can reach the sea through the dunes. Here you can splash in the waves just as you like, play with the children, dig in the sand, browse your holiday novel, fly kites, go kitesurfing, etc.
In the nearby center of Schillig you will find a supermarket, bakery, restaurants, cafes, and some boutiques.
Horumersiel-Schillig is a well-established holiday resort with a long tradition. Schillig owes its special "peninsula location" (lovingly called the "Cape of Good Recreation" by vacationers) to the maritime stimulating climate and the beautiful long sandy beach.
It is not only beautiful in Schillig in summer. Every season has its own charm. Splashing in the waters of the North Sea and lazing on the beach – wonderful. But the clear spring air, the whipping of the wind during an autumn storm, or ice crystals piling up into ice floes in winter are also worth experiencing.
Schillig and the surrounding area are full of activities for which a single vacation is not enough.
The children's playhouse Seesternchen in Horumersiel or the children's play area in Hooksiel are very popular with the little guests. The large play barn Bullermeck offers climbing fun. The marina of Horumersiel offers a colorful variety of excursion trips.

Always worth recommending!
Once again, we (a group of 6 friends) spent a long weekend in this beautiful and cozy vacation house. And once again, everything was perfect! During our last stay, we found the bathroom freshly renovated, and this time the living area was newly furnished. The house is well-maintained, and there is nothing to complain about. Beautiful house
Last weekend we were guests in this wonderful house, with the best view over the dike. We spent a beautiful November weekend in Schillig in the best weather. Long walks on the beach during the day and cosy in front of the stove in the evening.
The service was very accommodating and friendly, so we had the option of booking only two nights.
Highly recommended!
We will gladly come again.
