The cottage, dating back to around 1850, is quietly and beautifully situated on a natural plot where a small pond shimmers between trees and stone. It is a simple yet charming little house, carrying the feeling of old Swedish countryside life, where time seems to move a little more slowly than in the world outside. Upon entering, you are immediately met by the kitchen, which serves as the heart of the home – rustic and functional, with space for both everyday life and shared moments around the table. Further inside, the main room opens up into a spacious living area with room for both social gatherings and sleeping arrangements. On the property there is also a separate building with an incinerating toilet and a shower, adding modern functionality without disturbing the rural atmosphere. The cottage also includes a rowboat, which is kept in the lake and allows for peaceful trips across the water, fishing, or simply quiet moments out on the lake. The area around Fållökna Gård is characterized by a typical Södermanland landscape of forests, pastures, and water. Just a short distance away lies Lake Nedingen, which shapes the scenery with its inlets, islands, and calm waters. The lake is known for its rich birdlife and wildlife and is used for both fishing and outdoor recreation. Nearby, nature reserves offer walking trails that wind through forests and over rocky outcrops, providing wide views of the lake and surrounding landscape. Small towns such as Skebokvarn and Malmköping are within reach, offering services, cafés, and local amenities, while the area as a whole retains its peaceful rural character.
