Nearby is Opatija, elegant tourist destination at the center of the Riviera of the Kvarner Gulf with the longest tradition of tourism in Croatia. In the Opatija You can experience everything: gourmet specialties, entertainment, boat excursions, sailing, 12 km long coastal promenade „Lungomare“, bicycle rides in mountain Učka, wellness, many possibilities for daily excursions (Plitvice Lakes, Risnjak National Park, islands Krk, Cres).
