Welcome to the holiday home "Where the Elk Lives" – your retreat in Ekshärad, in the heart of Sweden. The house offers 100 m² of space for up to 5 guests and features two bedrooms with comfortable beds and lovingly selected wooden furniture. The fully equipped kitchen-living room leaves nothing to be desired: here you will find a dishwasher, a microwave, a kettle and a coffee machine, fridge-freezer combination – ideal for enjoyable meals. The beautiful bathroom is equipped with a washing machine, shower, washbasin, toilet, mirror, cabinet, and hairdryer.
On the covered, enclosed terrace you can enjoy the fresh air and light the grill in the evening. For excursions on the nearby lake, your own rowboat is available. Use at your own risk. After a day in the Swedish countryside, the house offers entertainment and comfort with a TV. The large property is surrounded by meadows and forests. In autumn, the moose come into our apple orchard.
The house is also suitable for longer stays and is reserved exclusively for non-smokers. Smoking is allowed on the terrace and in the garden. Experience a relaxing holiday in an environment where nature and tranquility are the focus.

Location and surroundings of object
In beautiful Värmland, 660km from Trelleborg, amidst many lakes, rivers and forests, is our house. You can go fishing, canoeing, visit the elk park, go hiking, pick berries and mushrooms, or simply enjoy nature. You can explore the landscape on designated cycle paths. Many riding stables offer horseback rides. In autumn, the elk often come into our apple orchard. Suitable for families and also for older people. On request, more than 5 people are possible for an additional charge.
Approximately 2500 sqm of natural garden, where the grass is sometimes a bit higher, are available to you on our approx. 4 ha property. For dogs, we have a fenced area. The rowboat on the lake can be used free of charge at your own risk.
