Escape to this charming chalet in a green residential area of Zutendaal, ideal for a relaxing stay for 2 people (2 children can stay upon request). The chalet is situated on a spacious, fully fenced and gated 3,700 m² property, which also features a main villa. The chalet and the main villa are therefore located on the same estate. Guests of the chalet have their own private space and terrace, while the swimming pool is shared with the owner when present.
The cosy living room, with a comfortable seating area, smart TV and air conditioning, offers optimal comfort in every season. The double sofa bed provides flexible additional sleeping space.
The open-plan kitchen also features air conditioning and is very well equipped with everything you need. From a dishwasher and coffee machine to an oven and convenient maxi-grill microwave, you can enjoy leisurely breakfasts or extensive dinners with ease. The cosy bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a shower and toilet, provides privacy and comfort.
Outside, enjoy a wonderful outdoor lifestyle with various seating areas. Directly in front of the large sliding doors is a lovely private terrace with direct access to the swimming area. The chalet also has its own charming covered lounge terrace where you can relax in peace. Take a refreshing dip in the swimming pool (open from March through October, weather permitting, and shared with the owner when present), relax on the comfortable sun loungers or enjoy long summer evenings in the cosy lounge area with fire pit and views of the pool. The refreshing outdoor shower completes the ultimate holiday experience. Your four-legged friends are also very welcome!
The accommodation is located on the same gated and fully fenced property as the main villa. Guests and their four-legged companions can enjoy the spacious outdoor area of no less than 3,700 m². The accommodation also has a secure private parking space on the gated property, allowing you to park your car safely behind the secured gate.
The chalet is located in the heart of Hoge Kempen National Park, a paradise for walkers and cyclists. Discover extensive forests, purple heathlands and beautiful cycling routes, or visit nearby cities such as Genk, Hasselt, the city of jenever, and Maastricht for culture, shopping and gastronomy. Famous attractions such as the Lieteberg Barefoot Path and Thor Park are also nearby. Here, nature, tranquillity and enjoyable day trips come together effortlessly for a carefree holiday!
The swimming pool is open from March through October, weather permitting. One large and one small towel are provided per person.

The holiday cottage was very nice in itself. Everything you need was there. The owners were super nice. We only met them briefly upon arrival; after that, we didn't see or hear from them. This wouldn't have been a problem for us personally at all. We were always by ourselves at the pool. Now we come to the bad part: Unfortunately, the booking (despite booking through Check 24) was unfortunately a complete mess. We had booked for 1 week and also received the booking confirmation from Check24 directly. Unfortunately, we did not receive any further information from the third-party provider, as was stated. After two days, I kindly inquired about the payment details, etc. Check24 forwarded it directly to the provider, who then took 2 days to respond. Then came the blow: they canceled our trip for operational reasons. Of course, we then quickly found nothing else, so vacation was over. A few days later, I happened to see that a few days were offered again for the same dates. So I booked again (only for three days, but better than nothing). SAME game as with the first booking, no confirmation from the provider, nothing! This time I inquired directly at belvilla the next morning. One day later, a response. The booking confirmation!!! The payment information also arrived, but with the indication of the date and time by which the transfer must be made, namely the day I received the email! The time had, of course, already passed. So I called them and asked where the hidden camera is. They said that we could solve it by transferring the money on the same day and sending a transfer receipt by email as proof. For me, at that point, the vacation was already over. Just pure madness and more than bad organization!!! Well, we did everything exactly as instructed. Then I sent three inquiries and only received a response to one on the day of arrival. Great. Arrived at the house, 5 PM was the check-in time, the house had not been cleaned by the previous guests, etc. So we had to wait another 30 minutes. The owner was nice and told us that we could already go to the pool and the garden and that there are cold drinks until the cleaning staff is finished. It should be noted that the owners have outsourced everything to external companies and therefore cannot be blamed. Conclusion: I would book the house again, but not as long as the booking goes through the same provider. I won't put myself through this stress again! ! ! !

I inform you that we did not take the "villa" we had reserved due to a glaring difference between the description on your site and what we found on site. Indeed, we thought we were renting a villa for 4 people and 1 animal (a husky) with access to a pool. We wanted to enjoy a few days of rest with a large area for our dog to run around. In the description, we appreciated the available amenities: sun loungers, outdoor shower, barbecue, . . . However, upon arrival, we found a cabin set up at the back of a garden with a small terrace facing an empty lot and an unclosed access to a pool behind the cabin (no view of the pool from the terrace) around which are all the amenities mentioned in your ad. Instead of feeling at home during our stay, we felt more like guests of someone we did not know. And above all, we discovered upon arrival that the owner had two large dogs. This was absolutely not mentioned in your ad (we would not have booked this property if it had been mentioned). With the fact that the land where the cabin is located is not fenced, we should have restricted our dog's movements, even keeping him on a leash so that he does not go to the owner's place or come into contact with his German shepherds. I therefore request a refund for all or part of this stay. Reservation number: 1FF6TR9H. For your information, I immediately informed the concierge at +32 473 91 28 60 but received no response.

Friendly reception by the owners. The cottage was equipped with all conveniences. Slept wonderfully! Enjoyed the swimming pool, the air conditioning in the cottage, and the large garden where the dog could entertain itself.
