Description
The holiday home is directly by the sea and is located between Porto-Vecchio and Palombaggia, one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. It is close to the lighthouse Phare de la Chiappa and has its own parking space, from which you can reach a private bathing platform with a bathing ladder a few meters further via a staircase – for sunbathing, snorkeling, or simply taking a swim after an eventful day.
A few steps lead from the parking space to the house, which is slightly elevated. Therefore, the terrace offers a fantastic view of the sea as well as the opposite coast and the Bavella mountains. On the opposite side, there is another terrace with a side sea view. This way, you can always enjoy a spot in the sun or shade as you wish.
The holiday home features a cozy living/dining room with electric shutters and an open, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, toaster, sandwich maker, hand blender, kettle & oven. Coffee lovers are free to choose between a fully automatic coffee machine for fresh beans, a filter coffee machine, or an espresso maker.
There are two bedrooms in total: one with a double bed and another with a bunk bed and an additional double bed. New mattresses with two selectable firmness levels as well as new blankets and pillows ensure restful sleep. A practical seating area can quickly be converted into another sleeping option for a child if needed.
The bathroom is newly renovated and equipped with double washbasin, shower, toilet, and bathroom cabinet including hairdryer and cosmetic mirror. Except for the large sliding door, all doors and windows are fitted with fly screens. Air conditioning units with heating function ensure pleasant temperatures in all 3 rooms at any time of year.
A barbecue, an outdoor shower, and a table tennis table are also available, as well as a high chair, vacuum cleaner, and iron if needed.
In the basement there are loungers, sun umbrellas, and various equipment such as boccia balls. You will also find a second refrigerator and the washing machine there, as well as, if applicable, four bicycles for use.
Pets can be brought along by arrangement. The property is fully fenced.

Whether you are a nature lover, water sports enthusiast, or cultural traveler: around the house you will find dreamlike beaches, impressive nature, as well as picturesque towns and prehistoric sites for an unforgettable vacation. The clear water also makes the region attractive for snorkeling and diving.
The holiday home is located in the southeast of Corsica between the town of Porto-Vecchio (about 15 min. by car) and Palombaggia, one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. The house is directly by the sea and you have access to a private bathing platform via a staircase. The path continues to the lighthouse and ends at the naturist club complex La Chiappa (about 1 km).
The quiet and family-friendly club (entrance fee and/or course fees) offers numerous sports activities (diving, surfing, sailing, ..) and a creative workshop (pottery courses, textile art) as well as a small supermarket and various dining options.
Palombaggia, with its turquoise waters, fine white sandy beach, and large pine trees, is about 10 min. away. Impressive rock formations rise from the water between the bays, inviting you to climb around.
Accessible only on foot or by boat (and therefore less frequented), you can discover an idyllic sandy beach, known by many simply as “Tahiti Bay”.
Just 30 min. away lies the mountain and forest area Ospedale, about 1,000 m above sea level, known for its dense pine and chestnut forests, beautiful hiking trails, the reservoir, breathtaking views, and the Piscia di Gallu waterfall. The cooler climate is especially pleasant in summer. The Cavu river there offers a special excursion experience with its water-shaped rocks and natural bathing pools.
More demanding athletes will find opportunities for canyoning, climbing tours, or alpine hikes in the nearby Bavella high mountains.
The lively old town of Porto-Vecchio with its historic citadel, picturesque alleys with cafés and boutiques, as well as the modern marina, provide a Mediterranean flair and invite you to stroll. Pubs and restaurants delight with regional specialties and excellent wines. Several supermarkets with a wide range offer long opening hours daily in summer.
Bonifacio, the southernmost town in Corsica (about 40 min.), with its spectacular old town on white limestone cliffs, is always worth a visit. The harbor is the starting point for numerous boat trips, and the cave tour is a particular highlight. Unforgettable for golfers is the spectacular 18-hole course in the Gulf of Sperone with views as far as Sardinia; near Porto-V., a 9-hole course at Lecci complements the offerings.
In the surroundings of Porto-Vecchio, there are also significant prehistoric sites such as the Bronze Age complex of Cucuruzzu, which offers fascinating insights into the early history of Corsica.
So from the holiday home you have all activities or excursion options practically at your doorstep, or you can simply relax and enjoy the time on the terrace with a wonderful view of the sea.

Everything wonderful
October is also a great season for Corsica. We enjoyed wonderful days here, the house is a dream! Gorgeous view, everything there, everything clean, short distances to the beach and the city, right by the sea, quiet location, what more could you want?? Breakfast with a royal sea view and in the evening enjoying a glass of wine on the terrace... we would have loved to extend our stay. Thank you very much for the uncomplicated booking and communication. We would love to come back.

Summer
We were a couple for five days in this accommodation and felt absolutely great.
Nothing was missing. The panoramic view was so dreamy that we spent almost every afternoon there. The furnishings were also such that we felt comfortable right away. Everything top-notch.
We also used the private access to the sea daily to enjoy the sea alone. Perfect also the proximity to super beautiful beaches.
We will definitely come back.

Dream Place
The centerpiece of this holiday home for us is the terrace with a dreamlike view over the bay of Porto Vecchio. The waterfront road is little trafficked, only residents and visitors of Club La Chiappa. Those seeking luxury are mistaken. For connoisseurs - a dream! In the nearby Club La Chiappa, you can get the morning croissant on foot or with one of the bicycles (just leave your ID at the reception). Small purchases can also be made there. For large shopping, there are various supermarkets within a 10-20 minute drive. The weekly market in the old town is unfortunately only on Sundays. The house is practical and very well equipped, the bathroom and windows are brand new. There is a separate air conditioning unit for each room. The beds are very comfortable, a bit creaky in the children's room. All arrangements with the landlord were flawless and uncomplicated – we would be happy to come back.

Einfach die Seele baumeln lassen..
Das Ferienhaus hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet, es hat an nichts gefehlt und es war alles sauber.
Besonders die Nähe zum Meer und die ruhige Lage waren für uns optimal.
Nur die Tischtennisplatte hielt uns auf Trab :-))
Ein sehr schöner Ort, um einen entspannten Urlaub zu verbringen. À l’année prochaine !

Phenomenal view
We had a great stay!
The accommodation was clean and quiet and just like in the photos, with this phenomenal view from the terrace being unbeatable.
Everything you need is available. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the mattresses were very comfortable. Communication with the landlord was hassle-free.
We felt at home and would love to come back.
Definitely recommended!
P. S. At the nearby diving school Hippocampe (German-speaking), you can dive and snorkel great.

Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Panoramablick war so traumhaft, dass wir fast jeden Nachmittag dort verbrachten. Auch die Einrichtung war so, dass wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt haben. Alles top.
Den privaten Badezugang zum Meer haben wir auch täglich genutzt um auch mal alleine das Meer zu genießen . Perfekt auch die Nähe zu superschönen Stränden.

Wer Luxus sucht ist falsch. Für Genießer - ein Traum!
Im naheliegenden Club La Chiappa kann man das morgendliche Croissant zu Fuß oder mit einem der Fahrräder holen (einfach den Ausweis an der Rezeption abgeben). Kleine Einkäufe kann dort man auch erledigen. Für den Großeinkauf gibt es in 10-20 Minuten Autoentfernung diverse Supermärkte. Wochenmarkt in der Altstadt ist leider nur Sonntags.
Das Haus ist praktisch und sehr gut ausgestattet, Bad und Fenster sind ganz neu.
Für jeden Raum gibt es eine eigene Klimaanlage. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, im Kinderzimmer etwas knarzig.
Alle Absprachen mit der Vermieterin waren tadellos und unkompliziert – wir kommen gerne wieder.
Die Unterkunft war sauber und ruhig und genau wie auf den Fotos, wobei diese phänomenale Aussicht von der Terrasse unschlagbar ist.
Es ist alles an Ausstattung vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Klimaanlage hat einwandfrei funktioniert und die Matratzen waren sehr bequem. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war problemlos.
Wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt und würden sehr gerne wiederkommen.
Definitive Empfehlung!
P.S.: In der nahe gelegenen Tauchschule Hippocampe (deutschsprachig) kann man super tauchen und schnorcheln.
Die Wohnräume sind gepflegt und es war alles sauber. Das neue Bad ist modern und funktionell. Die elektrischen Rollläden im Wohnzimmer waren sehr komfortabel!! An Ausstattung ist alles vorhanden, auch küchentechnisch fehlt es an nichts. Urlaub einfach nur genossen.
Das Haus ist super ausgestattet und entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man hat sich direkt wohlgefühlt. Auch die Vermieterin hat uns von Anfang an bei allen Fragen unkompliziert weitergeholfen und war jederzeit erreichbar. Ein paar der Ausflugsideen haben wir aufgegriffen und für jeden war was dabei, aber die Zeit war einfach zu kurz! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
