Description
Villa Monique is located near Porto-Vecchio in the south of Corsica. From here you have a fantastic sea view over the gulf of Porto-Vecchio and the mountain world of Alta Rocca. The property itself is quietly situated with an adjoining green belt. The garden is arranged with typical plants. To the villa belong several large, partly covered terraces with terrace furniture
In the upper apartment for 4 persons there is a living/dining area with SAT-TV and internet connection, open kitchen, 2 separate bedrooms, shower-bath with washing machine, guest toilet. The living space is about 90 square meters. Fridge, freezer, dishwasher, stove with 3 gas and 1 electric plate, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, TV, WLAN etc. are available.
The apartment includes a living area with kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom. Size approx. 45 square meters. Refrigerator with separate freezer compartment, coffee machine, 2-plate stove, toaster, TV, WLAN etc. are available.
The apartment as well as the flat have an outside grill.
On the property there is a boules court for leisure activities.

Porto-Vecchio is a very popular place in summer with many restaurants, cafes and bars. These can be found both in the romantic old town, which is situated on a rock, a historic centre with a city wall and citadel, and around the newly developed marina, which is very popular with sailors and motorboat drivers. There are several boat rentals and diving schools and the like
There are also attractive boutiques and other shopping facilities, as well as 5 large supermarkets, which are open all day.
About 10 minutes by car from the holiday home is one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe: Palombaggia. It consists of 3 large sandy bays, each about 2 kilometres long, separated from each other by picturesque rock formations and framed by large, imposing umbrella pines and cork oaks. As the beach is shallow, it is also ideal for children. There are other beaches nearby. A small beach can be reached on foot from the house
In Porto-Vecchio and surroundings there are boat rentals, diving schools etc. Golf courses are also available nearby. There is also a tennis court with 2 hard courts and 2 sand courts
Day trips to the surroundings like the mountains or Bonifacio are very attractive.
A discount can be granted for bookings for 4 persons without an apartment.

Perfect holiday home for young and old
We have never stayed in such a lovingly well-equipped holiday home in Corsica.
The house is equipped with all the necessary everyday items and much more. Even the smallest ones are taken into account.
The location is a dream, the view from the different terraces is breathtaking. Even if you are unsure about what to visit in the immediate area, which beach is particularly beautiful, or where to have a delicious dinner, there is a great list available in the house that you can refer to.
All in all, for us, the perfect house.
We can warmly recommend this house to everyone.
We will return in the near future.

The best holiday home we have ever had.
The amenities leave nothing to be desired. Everything you need is available. Only towards the end we would have wished for a heat lamp on the covered terrace to be able to sit outside longer in the evening. The light is anyway too bright ;) . . .
The location is a dream. Here you not only have a sea view through a gap in the vegetation. Here you have the postcard panorama with a sunrise every morning. From the Bavella massif over the bay of Porto-Vecchio to the sea up to the lighthouse... There are so many cozy spots that you can catch the sun somewhere all day or find a shady place. It was clean and in good condition. Should something not work (e.g., SAT TV after a storm), someone comes by quickly. Pricing is, of course, somewhat higher. But the location and amenities with the dreamlike pool are definitely worth it.

Vacation that excites - simply dreamy!
We have now been to Villa Monique several times - we simply like it there incredibly well. The grand view of the sea, the well-kept and lovingly designed property, the tastefully furnished house, the infinity pool - it really doesn't get any better! The amenities - both indoors and outdoors - leave nothing to be desired. And the location is perfect - a place of tranquility, yet everything is very accessible. It is simply amazing - we have already booked directly for next year!

Dreamlike
We had just under two fantastic weeks at Villa Monique. The location and view, especially from the infinity pool, couldn't be better. The house itself and the garden areas are lovingly designed, and nothing is lacking. From there, you can quickly reach Porto Vecchio, as well as great bathing coves in the south with plenty of wonderful restaurants. The landlord is very accessible and extremely helpful, even with special requests regarding fishing spots.
