Welcome to the holiday home Garnekuul 40 in Callantsoog – the perfect accommodation for a relaxing family holiday in a recreational park on the Dutch coast! The house offers 50 m² of space for up to 4 guests (max. 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children) and is therefore ideal for couples or small families. Your dog is also very welcome here, so nothing stands in the way of a dog-friendly holiday. Enjoy sunny hours in your own garden with a terrace, while the children play on the lawn or a delicious BBQ takes place at the grill. Experience unforgettable vacation days in Callantsoog, just a few minutes' walk from the fine sandy beach, awarded the "Blue Flag"!
In the detached, single-story holiday home you will find a comfortably furnished living area with an open kitchen and dining area. The fitted kitchen is equipped with modern appliances, kitchen utensils, and sufficient dishes are available. From the living area, you access the terrace and the sunny garden through the fully openable terrace door. You can also enjoy the peace under the veranda. The two bedrooms each have a bed (1.40 m x 2 m) and a wardrobe. The modern shower room/WC offers contemporary comfort with a walk-in shower. In the storage room there are a washing machine, handcart, and two bicycles.
In the bright living room there is a comfortable sofa as well as two armchairs. For entertainment, a TV with Netflix, CD player, radio, Bluetooth speaker and Wi-Fi (free of charge) as well as books and board games are available. The fitted kitchen is equipped with: four-burner gas stove, refrigerator, air fryer, microwave, filter and Senseo coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and sandwich maker. You can store your food ice-cold in a 50-liter freezer in the storage room. To enjoy your time outside the house, you will find the necessary patio furniture with cushions in the storage room.
The house is located in the child-friendly park Garnekuul. A large play meadow and a playground with various play equipment as well as a table tennis table are a popular meeting place for children.
E-car drivers will find a charging station in the parking lot at the entrance to the complex.

Location and surroundings of object
The family-friendly seaside resort of Callantsoog, located directly on the open North Sea, is situated in one of the most beautiful areas of North Holland; nearby is the nature reserve "Zwanenwater" with its diverse plant and bird life. Only a narrow strip of dunes separates the town center with its lively village square from the wide, approximately 40 km long sandy beach. Both are only about 400 m from the park. To the north and south, you can take long walks on the beach; your dog is also welcome and can run freely in designated beach areas. There are plenty of places to take a break along the way: in the beach pavilions with their large terraces, you can treat yourself to a portion of fries or a more extensive meal. The hinterland is also worth exploring. You can reach a forest area as well as extensive (tulip) fields in just a few steps when you leave the park.
You can visit the town center with your children on foot, or in five minutes by bike. Around the village square you will find a bakery open daily, (souvenir) shops, boutiques, restaurants, and cafés for every budget and every taste. You should definitely enjoy a delicious ice cream to go from the ice cream parlor with its numerous varieties. At the local supermarket Albert Hein you can stock up on groceries daily from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. German newspapers/magazines are also available here.
More distant excursion destinations (Schagen, Alkmaar, Bergen, Den Helder) can be reached by car within 15 to 30 minutes or, if you prefer something more active, comfortably by bike on the well-developed cycle path network (two bicycle rental stations are located in the town). During a visit to the nearby picturesque villages and towns, you can get to know the typically Dutch architecture of historic buildings, stroll through narrow alleys, take canal cruises, discover curiosities at the (junk/flea) markets, or watch the lively hustle and bustle from a terrace. Try to capture and experience the real Dutch way of life. The animal park "Hoenderdaell" in Anna Palowna and the indoor and outdoor play park "De Goudvis" in Sint Maartenszee offer an interesting change. In Callantsoog and the surrounding region you will find everything Holland is known for in every season: fresh sea air and high waves, endless dunes and wide beaches, polder landscapes, inland waters navigated by boats, canals and waterways with “open bridges,” colorful tulip fields, plenty of nature, windmills, cozy villages, and sociable Dutch men and women.

Here is the translation to English: You may withdraw from the contract at any time. The withdrawal must be made in writing (an email is sufficient). In the event of withdrawal, you are obliged to compensate me for any damages incurred: - From the day the booking confirmation is issued by the landlord up to the 121st day before the start of the rental period: no compensation. - From the 120th day to the 61st day before the start of the rental period: 10% of the rental price. - From the 60th day to the 15th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price. - From the 14th day to the 8th day before the start of the rental period: 80% of the rental price. - If you withdraw less than eight days before the start of the rental period, an amount equal to 90% of the rental price must be paid. The date your notice of withdrawal is received is decisive. Any amounts already paid will be offset. You may provide a substitute person who enters into the contract under the stated conditions. The landlord reserves the right to approve this person. Written notification is sufficient.
