I tried to cancel this booking as soon as I realized it was the same place s my previous booking, which I was trying to leave. Because: At arrival to the property after 4pm, there was overflowing garbage at the entrance. We waited for about 30 minutes for our room as they seemed to be running behind. Walking down the hallway there was garbage, stains, and an unpleasant odor. The room was tidy but didn't feel clean, I wiped out all surfaces. The bathroom smelled like pee. There were 2 bath towels and 1 washcloth, not enough. We were so tired and had waited long before, so we made do. The walls are so thin I could hear people talking/arguing at all hours, there were dogs barking from rooms and the outside door slamming shut numerous times during the night. Not restful. In the morning I decided to ask if I could get a refund I did not want to go back. I connected with the owner who told me to contact the third party, Expedia, who connected me to VrBo. I was told it was possible to get a credit for the remaining balance to apply to whatever else I found, I quickly booked a 8.9 rated place that had a decent picture and thought I was set until I received the confirmation and it was the same address as before. Big mistake, as soon as I realized I contacted the owner who asked me to contact VrBo and VrBo couldn't get a hold of them, so there has been a lot of back and forth.

How do I begin? The room was so bad that we left without staying. When entering the room, a stale smell greeted us. One window, without a screen, was open and could not be fully shut. There was no toilet paper. The refrigerator had a disgusting yellow stain all over it. The stove was rusty and looked bizarre. The vent in the bathroom is caked in dirt. The bed had no coverlet. The television had no signal. The sink in the bathroom sported cigarette burns. There were two horrible towels and no bath mat. The tub was dirty. The waste basket was not emptied from the previous occupant. There were zero hangers. The absolute worst place I have ever attempted to stay. We opted to get back in our vehicle and drive home rather than staying at this place. Horrible!
