The perfect place for a family holiday! Children of all ages are welcome. The spacious, airy and neat self-catering holiday house is ideally located close to the beach – only 100 meters or 3 minutes’ walk – and it is also close to the river mouth, which is the best spot on the beach for children. Pringle Bay is situated in a beautiful and unspoilt area surrounded by mountains, fynbos, beaches and sea.
Dreams has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom is on the first floor, and the other bedrooms are next to each other on the bottom floor (in one the single beds can be pushed together to make a "king"). All the bedrooms have ceiling fans, paintings, cupboards and/or chests of drawers. Blankets and heaters are available during winter. For extra guests, there is a comfortable sleeper couch in the TV room.
The spacious living room has a mountain view and a sliding door leading out to the covered balcony. Relax in the lounge suite, read one of the many books available whilst listening to the sea, challenge someone in a board game or build a puzzle. In the living room, you will find plenty of books, board games and puzzles for all ages. In addition, some toys are available for our younger guests. Various Wi-Fi packages can be ordered.
Next to the living room is a separate TV room with a sleeper couch, flat-screen TV and Open View Decoder/Channels. To access your favourite channels, bring along your own decoder.
Dreams has a fully equipped and open-plan kitchen with a mountain view. Our open-plan dining room, between the kitchen and the outdoor braai area, has an eight-seater table.
Dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, electric oven, four plate gas hob.
Plenty of crockery, cutlery and bowls. High-quality pots and pans.
Vacuum cleaner, dishwashing liquid, sponges and cleaning agents are supplied.
Washing machine.
The built-in braai/BBQ is under a roof and conveniently situated next to the open-plan dining room, which is also close to the kitchen. Braai to the sound of the sea, spice your chops with some fresh rosemary from the garden and enjoy your dinner outside, next to the braai, or in the dining room.
Parking in the garage and off-street parking for several cars on the paved area in front of the house. The garage has space for one car and extra space for beach accessories, bicycles etc.
Outdoor shower for those who would like to rinse off after visiting the beach.

Ideal location – close to both the child-friendly beach and river mouth – with beautiful mountain views. A spacious and well-equipped house with many “extras” to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing. 100 meters "as-the-crow-flies" or 3 minutes walk to the beach (250 m walk).
The Cape Overberg area offers a wide variety of activities for both children and adults. Pringle Bay is situated along the famous Whale Coast in the Cape Overberg area in the Western Cape and is part of the unique and beautiful Kogelberg Biosphere.
Pringle Bay is located only 1 hour’s drive from Cape Town International Airport. Drive along the spectacular Clarence Marine Drive and stop at one of the viewpoints to admire the scenery or try to spot a whale (seasonal). Click on the link for a video clip of Clarence Drive.

I'm a Swedish South African who met my husband "a lifetime ago" when we both backpacked through Africa, and I never got further than Cape Town. I teach at an independent school in a township outside Stellenbosch. The school is run by an NPO and offers quality education to young children in Grades R-3, equipping them with a sound foundation for future academic success, which will enable them to change their circumstances. When our children were young, I fell in love with the fantastic beach in Pringle Bay and the unspoilt and beautiful environment in the area. It is a hidden gem that offers an experience off the beaten track, yet only 1 hour's drive from Cape Town International Airport. Sea, sun, sand! The perfect place to make memories with family and friends.
