Kamilari is ideally located on the central south coast of Crete to visit, among others, the ancient palace of Phaistos, the excavation site of Gortyna and Agia Triada, the monastery "Moni Odigitrias", the archaeological museum in Gortys and, of course, the beautiful beaches of Kalamaki, Komos, Matala, Red Beach, Agio Farago, etc.
It is only a 10-minute walk to the center of Kamilari with mini-markets, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, and very good restaurants. It is about a 7-minute drive by car to the beautiful, undeveloped sandy beach "Komos".

Dream vacation with excellent service
We had a wonderful vacation in this villa in Crete and can recommend it without reservation. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and the pool was simply dreamy. Although there were minor issues at the beginning, they were immediately and easily resolved.
The hosts were incredibly friendly, warm, and always reachable. You can tell that the well-being of their guests is truly important to them. Everything was taken care of, from brochures with information about sights, beaches, and excursion options in Crete to a beach umbrella. This allowed us to enjoy our vacation relaxed from the very beginning.
We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Thank you for the warm hospitality!
