The Old Forest House in Willingen-Schwalefeld, completely renovated in 2024, now houses luxurious holiday apartments with an outdoor pool and sauna, offering accommodations that are truly unique in Willingen. Willingen's town center, with its excellent leisure activities, is approximately 4 km away, and Lake Diemelsee is a mere 10-minute drive (10 km). 4.5-Room Luxury Holiday Apartment "Jägerheim"
The Jägerheim is a maisonette holiday apartment for 6 people with a gallery, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and Wi-Fi. The entire property was meticulously renovated for the 2025 season and furnished to a high standard with natural wood accents. This elegant apartment boasts a luxurious ambiance with a patio, shared garden, communal outdoor pool and sauna, as well as stunning panoramic views of the Upländer mountains. The apartment is situated on a hillside in Schwalefeld, offering breathtaking views of the Upländer mountains. Located on a secluded hillside, the apartment is accessed by descending one level from the street.

Tolle Unterkunft
Eine wirklich tolle Ferienwohnung mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es hat quasi an nichts gefehlt und auch die Infos im Haus sind sehr gut. Der Wohn/Essraum mit der offenen Küche ist nicht riesig aber sehr durchdacht und gemütlich. Die Kücheneinrichtung ist hier auch sehr hervorzuheben. Es fehlte einfach an nichts bzw. wenn uns überhaupt etwas aufgefallen ist, dann dass es gerne 2-3 große Schneidebretter geben könnte oder wir haben diese nicht gefunden. Der obere Schlafbereich hat eine gute Aufteilung, ausreichend Staufläche und die Empore mit Loungefläche ist für Kinder sicherlich ein Highlight. Die Betten waren gut, für mich persönlich hätte die Matratze dicker sein dürfen. (bin Boxspringschläfer) Terrasse, Pool, Saun, Bäder, Preis/Leistung absolut TOP! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The accommodation was really great. Very high-quality furnishings. The cleanliness was like at home. Nothing was missing. The pool needs to be worked on with a railing so that elderly people can enter safely. It is simply not suitable for old frail people because of the spiral staircase. Otherwise, the accommodation is highly recommended. Nothing was missing. Except for an air conditioning for days around 40 degrees. I believe it has never been that hot there either. That is only due to climate change. I personally would come back anytime. By the way, the owner is very nice and friendly.

This vacation apartment is amazing. Very stylishly furnished. We were there with 6 adults for a weekend and enjoyed our time: either in the pool, on the great terrace, or in the living room. The second bathroom was also practical. We will definitely come back.

Recommendation!!!
The overall package of the Alte Försterei is absolutely fantastic. We spent a super nice short vacation in the Jägerheim apartment during Corpus Christi in 2025. The apartment is very, very well equipped. Furnished with a lot of love for detail, and it matches our taste 100%. There is really nothing missing. Christina and Nils are incredibly friendly hosts! We really enjoyed the personal contact. What makes the vacation in the Alte Försterei special: - The large rooftop terrace is beautifully designed and the view into the valley is truly special. - The location is unique from our perspective. It is wonderfully quiet and at the same time, the proximity to Willingen offers many activities. - The infinity pool is really nicely designed! It is fun not only for the little guests ;-) - The sauna perfectly rounds off the overall package. We are very, very happy to come back and have already reserved for next year.

Super great vacation apartment
The apartment was exactly our taste. The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. We were there with 4 adults and 2 children. We had plenty of space. We felt comfortable there. The landlords were very nice and friendly.
